  1. As always much obliged Harry for all ye do. Just curious as it might pay just to bring hammocks and forget some of the tents...
  2. As always, aye Maddogge ye missed another grand event. As always, my heartfelt thanks to the folks that did attend from the Archangel crewe! As always ye did a fine job of it! As always, I am damned proud to know ye and have the priviledge of working with ye! As always I was too busy fishing a part of me out of the water, right then, as always I was busy yelling at someone else to get my hat out of the water before Mickey hat's sank... right then, my hat went in first but floats longer, being beaver, but rank does have some priviledges although, as always, I am still trying to reckon what those might be. As always had a great time but that was due to the fine folks I was with. As always I am grateful to Blackbeard's Crew for their stupendous hospitality that goes above and beyond the call of duty. It is an honour to know ye and work with ye. As always I am a bit more tired, a bit more ill and suffering from a bit more pain... thanks to Dutchie... I'll kill him later.
  3. How tight? As it was kind of hard to find space last year for tents (i.e. flat, not in a gully where the rain water collected or huge pieces of coral to sleep on...) Just curious
  4. The current one I have and would never trade for another.... parent.
  5. the "13th Button"..... I can't wait until ye button that 13th button to the tails of yer justacorps ...
  6. Belated as well but still wishing ye the very best! Hope twas grand!
  7. Many happy returns of the day... ye crafty bugger ye.
  8. Aye but just think how realistic the funeral would be...
  9. Damn but I am sorely tempted to do Wild West for the ball this time round...
  10. Of course you count m'dear, but since you are always reminding us that the ordinary is the "Common Ground" even though you are a most welcome addition to the Archangel Crewe, I respect your desire to run the ordinary as its "own thing" catering to both sides of the fence.... pirate hunter and pirate alike... besides if you ever decided to leave the crewe, i would have to hunt you down and keel haul you....because i would not give you up without a fight! (okay, okay... still brain dead... tis this illness thing...dying has me all muddled... )
  11. A series of kids books, or as my daughter keeps correcting me..."Young Adults" based on a character named Montmorency... setting is Victorian England... a thief turned gentleman turned spy (with the thief resurfacing now and then)... after falling through a glass roof and being put back together... Not as detailed as I would like but still fun and I do recommend em to folks that like that type of storyline.
  12. Damn ye did just mention that tonight, didn't you? Brain dead.. my apologies...
  13. Well this sucks... sorry to hear this, but will keep things in prayer... looks like Maddogge and Cheeky maybe the only ones there... scary thought, what?
  14. Thanks Jack for clarifying... Lill, looks like yer "back" in business...
  15. Agreed... my payment has been sent. Now I just need the bleedin shoes to go with them...snigger
  16. Haven't done one of these in decades... do they still make the 54mm pirate series?
  17. Hmmm I would think all three...ahem... if used correctly could slay any man...
  18. [quote name='Bilgemunky' I think this would be a mistake (not that Hollywood ever makes those.) The best thing they could do is go straight to the book and try to take it fresh - any attempt to recreate Errol Flynn would be dreadfully misguided. The job here is to capture Blood, not Flynn. Personally I think the best move they could make would be a decidedly non-Flynn approach, while still maintaining the scholarly type turned reluctant pirate sort of thing. I have to agree with Bilgemunky... forget about Errol Flynn and go back to the original... although maybe we can leave out the part of them fighting over the 13 year old girl... but young don't ye think?
  19. Careful folks.... we now have a PG-13 rating... does anyone know exactly what that entails, especially after watching some of the more current PG-13 films? (Which included everything but hard core porn)
