Authors who use foreign language quotes in their books, but don't ever tell you what it means, so you may have lost a key inuendo (?), or clue about that character or the plot, or missed a snappy retort if the quote is used during an argument between two characters. Yeah, later I eventually look up what it means, but I don't want to stop in the middle of what I am reading to do that. Yeah!!! To this DAY I cannot read Elvish!!

Iron Bess is my hero...she's one of the people I've always wanted to meet, so she could properly eviscerate me for comments I've made in Pirate Pop about certain movies and particular certain characters. Not if you don't hold the door open......

I always get a chuckle out of the lads that hold open a door for me (And for some reason there seems to be plenty... maybe I just look pitiful when not in Pirate garb) I thank them and say"“Who say’s that chivalry is dead!?" and give them a big smile. They love it!

(Chuckle) Oh yes... When Trader Joes has a sale this wench stocks up! EVen Phoebe loves them and I've used them as training treats. Course... floating them in the Peach Champagne isn't a loss either.

Those who let their dogs poop on the beach and leave it there, or scuff sand over it, turning it into a smelly land mine just waiting for someone to step on it. Yuk! Oh yeah! Being the proud mother of a dog that is capable of leaving Mega mounds I ALWAYS have baggies with us when we hit the beach. (She is a service dog and can go anywhere) I've often called out to folks to tell them they *forgot something* "Oh, I don't have anything to pick it up with..." says they.... "Here! Have one of mine!" says I.... They come back like little dogs wapped on the nose with newspaper. (Good Phoebe!)
