  1. We be planning on Saturday. Gives us Sunday to get our young "Jack Sparrow" to get back to routine.
  2. We'll be there for the opening, should hopefully get there around 10-10:15 or so. Don't want to miss the opening with the cannon..... Can't miss us, hubby is in wheelchair. I thinks I told that to Capt. Flint already.
  3. Wish I'd be there, but being on the east coast. I will be thinking o' you, Capt'n luv.
  4. No, I be one too. Welcome aboard! Sit down and have a few.
  5. That would be 'bout 7 o' us. Couple o' us bringing our families. We are great fans of the Pyrates Royale and can't wait to hear the other groups. We will get there early for the opening, which o'course sets the tone for the day.
  6. Welcome aboard. Go to the fabric store and take a look at all the patterns. Pattern companies have come out with historical patterns (of a sort). See if you know anyone that sews and maybe they could help you out. They may even be able to teach you, if you don't know how to already. I've been sewing for a number of years now and still am learning how to do things. Sometimes you can throw some outfits together with the styles that are out now. Be creative, have fun.
  7. Stynky Tudor, ha' ya' heard from enyone else? MadMaryFlint, ya gotta be there. Us "Mads" just gotta meet.

  10. And I be t' other named Cheryl. My almost 4 year old son Duncan thought it was cool for mommy to have a cannon named for her. He said that the little cannon in the middle was Duncan. I didn't want to break his heart.

  12. Question: Do the symbols (i.e. crossed bones, crossed bone and cutlass, have any meaning and where would I find it? Thank 'e
  13. Me thinks that iffen one can "stand" yer "foot", someone should contact Guinness Book of Records
  14. I do have a question on clothing. As part of the attire, does a pirate have to wear boots? Just thought I would ask.
  15. Oh, and isn't it that the size of the foot denotes.......
  16. Oh, let's not ferget what any action figure usually looks like. The hands are way too big, the chest is bigger than any body builder (look how they "beefed" up Harrison Ford or Jeff Goldblum) and the head on the shoulders is way too small. Yes, I cleaned that up 'cuz I knew what kinds of minds we have here.....
  17. We all don't have to wear boots now, do we??? I have a real problem with my calves. No boots will fit over them unless they are custom made. Oh Well.
  18. .....and how many "mad" do we currently have??? A toast to those who are mad!
  19. We also promoted POTC here in Maryland. Even sang a couple o' songs. We asked people what they were seeing. When they replied Bad Boyz II, I'd pipe in that the pirates were the original bad boys...ok, that was bad but we had fun!!!
  20. I be Seadog. Grandparents had a shore place when I was younger. Couldn't keep me out-o the water. Dated a guy for 5 years that had a boat and loved it. Never got seasick. Even went on the Enterprise (Big E) a couple-o years ago for Friends and Family Day. Didn't have to take the pills. Twas a great day.
  21. I am definately a pirate, attacking whoever I wish, whenever I wish. The name I got was Mad Ethel Rackham, boy sure is close...at least the mad part.
