Ahoy Silkie, The Pub is experiencing some issues that I haven't had oppertunity to fix, but that isn't one that I'm aware of. Can anyone else confirm this as a bug? I just tried it and it seems to work fine for me. . .

Monday, April 16th, 2012 The Pub is scheduled for another software upgrade and may be down and off line part of the day.

It depends on what web browser you are using. But before proceeding, make sure that you know your login information and passwords for accounts you may have stored in your browser. In Firefox, go to the Tools pull down menu and select Clear Recent History. A requestor box will pop up, click on the Clear Now button - I have everything selected. For Internet Explorer, go to the Tools pull down menu and select Internet Options. Now select the General tab from the requester pop up, go to the Browser history section and select the Delete button. A secondary requester pop up will appear, select various options and click on that Delete button – again I have everything selected. Beware: that clearing everything from your cache will likely delete your login and password information for any accounts stored by your browser – so make sure you know all of your login information and passwords.

Oh yeah - So what do you want me to do about it? . . .well I guess I could track down the images and reupload them. Actually thanks for mentioning it James. Mission brought it up earlier, but since I use Firefox as my web browser, I don’t see the missing image indicators that Internet Explorer shows - I'll try and fix that today.

Ivan, if I'm not mistaken these both look like images from your site. . . converted to grayscale with your site name and copyright cut off of course. Artistically speaking, they should have done sepia.

I've only watched bits of that episode a few times and I don’t recall seeing your image. But it does seem to be a on permanent run cycle - I’ll try to DDR / record it.

Welcome Aboard, As long as you don’t take any of this or anyone here ( especially Mission ) too seriously, I’m sure you’ll do yourself just fine. Whether your interests are fixed on a historical period in time or you just want to make a new costume for Halloween – the Pyracy Pub is open everybody. And if you find that someone be ruffling yar feathers, send a PM / Personal Message to the forum Moderator and they’ll help work it out for ya.

is this a wip? .........OK, I give up..... What do you mean by "wip" ?? I'm assume he means "Work In Progress" as in "not finished" - though it looks like a done piece to me.

Sorry about the trouble getting online, we had some hardware problems that took us offline for a while. Unless other people are still having problems, I suspect it was just a glitch when either the new hardware was swapped in or the site restored from back-up. In any case, Welcome Aboard!

Perhaps... Do you like my new photo? Swashbuckler, All of your images look great! I would like to think that everything worked as it should on your first attempt - the Pub doesn't have any major technical problems that I'm aware of. . . It can take a few minutes for the webservers and database to sync up with each other and ( to Mission's point ) sometimes it's just a matter of clearing one's browser cache. In any case the results of uploading or replacing one's Avatar User Images should be rather instantaneous.
