Nonsense! You can never start talking about these things too early. I mean, I'm just starting to make plans for this year and I'm already falling behind. As someone who attends events on both coasts - I would really like to know the scoop sooner rather than later. . . or at least have it available.

It's sort of both, but not not so much of a prank. The really odd thing was when Mission came out with the mug you'd been using at the event and said that you had left it for me. . . and that was on the day we went out to ship your mug. Oh, thanks for letting me know - I'll take 'er out of the line up.

Not to be questioning your credentials - but are you sure that it's an Elliot Light Dragoon? The reason I ask is that there are a lot of pistols floating around with specific labels, that then fall short when it comes to matching up actual replacement parts. In fact I've made the mistake on more than one occasion - even going as far as ordering replacement parts only to find what I was working on wasn't a true Elliot Dragoon piece. Museums are a much better reference than word of mouth. . . Aye, I can attest to this man's abilities - I think my mainspring is actually better off for it.

Quartermaster James sent me some really great gifts – I can only imagine by accident! But I got a finely crafted seasonal card, along with a huge hinged lid tankard, a large container of the Quartermaster’s Reserve Hot Buttered Rhum Batter - made from the finest imported sugars, exotic spices and clarified dairy butter. And though I don’t make a habit of smoking, he also sent me some wonderfully aromatic Virginia Flake tobacco that’s begging me to start. Quartermaster James, you’ve put me gift giving skills to shame - Thank you. . . . I intend to post pictures

Have we actually met? I think we didn't meet on a beach that neither of us actually went to. Somehow. Several times, even. Actually I do remember you telling me. . . but the shock value of the statement overrides the memory of who it was being said about.
