Barbossa apparently died, but if the damned monkey was still alive and cursed at the end, would that not mean that everyone was still alive and cursed at the end? I'd rather see Barbossa come back than have them introduce Papa Keith Sparrow... but my biggest fear is they'll put a little Will Turner the 3rd in it. Sequels with children are generally quite lousy (though there are exceptions to that, but its such a tired plot.)

If I'd seen this sooner I'd have booked seven nights on the Magic instead of four. Anything else the least bit piratey aboard? How's the shopping in Nassau? Any recommendations for Castaway Cay excursions?

I'm just glad they only made Jack in the 18" size because no doubt I'd have had to have a Barbossa if they did him as well. I'm just happy they're making any at all. That movie came out when? Guess they're trying to keep up interest until the sequels are released. I almost wish they weren't making sequels. I fear they won't stand up to the original...

That's beacuse it isn't him. Heh. I thought it was a fair imitation, however, and it sounds way more like him than the LOTR ones sound like their actors. Looks like him, though. Plus I like being able to have a hands-on 3D model of his outfit since I'm trying to make my own custom doll to match the Will Turner one I did. Wait, who told you I was using it as a paperweight? On the plus side, I haven't lost a paper yet!

As with the Jack figure, for me looking at the pic isn't good enough. Ohhh...beautiful astrolabe... IMHO, anything that makes you happy isn't useless. Although admittedly the costing money and taking up space part is still a factor.
