  1. Apparently Mr. Issacs has a history of making "home movies" on sets he is on. This is from a Harry Potter site called the Leaky Cauldron: http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/MTarchiv...ves/004498.html Naughty boy!
  2. I picked up the Peter Pan DVD at Costco yesterday. On the Bonus features ther's is a Section called The Pirate Ship. There's a behind the scenes video lof with Jason Issacs, tour of the Jolly Roger, Lost Boys vs Pirates, and a pirate song that was deleted from the film. Check it out! :)
  3. I saw it on the second viewing and good job Scupper & Hawkins! I noticed to my suprise that two of me PRP mates were also in it. Capt Kidd aboard ship was played by Jerry Reyes (he was also in PTOC as one of Jack's silent crew members.) and Louis Lambe as of of Kidd's crew (also in PTOC as Olrando's Bloom's sailing double and memember of the Lady Washington). They both did a great job! :)
  4. Happy Birthday Lady B!
  5. Now for another class of Yoga for Pirates . Instead of Warrior 1 pose it could Pirate 1 or downward facing scurvy dog!
  6. Well it was suppose to be the third but between the heat (and your haeart) and my consussion we didn't make it. Maybe next weekend.
  7. Look forward to seeing it. I wonder if they interviewed Roy for the documentary.
  8. I picked up my collector's edition at Target for $30.00 even though the website said it was $25.00. I just had to have it! Gary I'll check the Antartic ocean scene when I get home tonight. :)
  9. Wolfy Wench where were you? Were you there and I missed you?
  10. Many happy returns Sir Jewels! A toast to you!
  11. Aye I did fire them fine cannons a couple of times. It was literally a blast! Ah! The memories! I can still smell the blackpowder! :) Were you able to get those folks out on the pier? Nay! Not allowed live shot. Something about liability. Personally I if I had live shot I would have used it on the person who drove thier speed boat back and forth at 6 am! Thank the gods he/she wasn't at Ojai this last weekend! :)
  12. Taking tomorrow off nad heading up to Ojai with BHP and her sister (sorry I forgot your name) Hope to see some of you up there and get aquainted! :) The weather looks Great! I'll make a report on Monday. I hope others will as well.
  13. Sounds like fun. Too bad I'm in California. The logo is great! Are you going to put it on an apron?
  14. BHP I forgot to say if you don't have any period eating ware there are booths at Ojai that will selling said items at reasonable prices. There are also things you can use at the PRP encampment. It does get cold at night so if you plan to attend the pot luck or hang around a bit after hours bring something warm. As you will not be camping you won't need thermal underwear. :)
  15. BHP Besidea what I e-mail you on pirvately you should bring the beverage of your choice (bring at least some non-alcoholic)& sunscreen are good things to bring.
  16. Me favorite weapon is me rapier sharp wit!
  17. Aye I did fire them fine cannons a couple of times. It was literally a blast! Ah! The memories! I can still smell the blackpowder! :)
  18. Is that Lake Casitas? Looks like the pirate faire last year. :)
  19. Now remember this is for Disney not the Playboy Channel!
  20. Surfing the web I found this interseting site on pirate re-enactors in the UK http://www.ches.me.uk/18th_century_maritime.htm I wonder if any of you are here in the Pub? If you are welcomes aborad lads & lasses! :)
  21. The Santa Barbara Heart of the Forest Faire is back! The Faire is run by the son of the founder of RPF/N&S (Phyllis) Kevin Patterson. The dates are May 8-24. Here the info: http://www.forestfaire.com/index.html This site of this faire is more like the old Agoura site. A lot more trees nearer the ocean etc. The last few times it was held it was a far better faire than Glen Helen! So if you want t break from the heat of SRPF give this one a try! Maria
  22. Funny those are my costume colors! :)
  23. Angus I am sad to see sign off as captain but glad you've found a worthy replacement. I hope ypu won't be a stranger I'd hate to see you go for good! :)
  24. Most happiest & warmest natal day greeting Redd! Around on me and a rousing HUZZAH! Now for the Barbarian Birthday song pirate style everyone.... BUCCANEER BIRTHDAY SONG (Sung to the tune of “The Volga boatmen”) Chorus: Happy Birthday Arggh! Happy Birthday Arggh! Death, destruction, and despair Children crying everywhere Chorus May the candles on your cake Burn like galleons in your wake Chorus One thing in life you must learn First you plunder then you burn! Chorus Hear the women wail and weep Kill them all but spare the sheep! Chorus Now that you’re the age you are Your demise cannot be far Chorus
  25. Hi Deacon No pics yet maybe the Ojai Faire or SRPF I will get some. Thanks for the link to Swordplay I will check it out. I am curious to see if he was inspired by any historical blades or does the MR site has it all wrong and it's not a mid-17th c. design. I e-mailed Mario and he said "It's a period style design but I don't recall ever having scene that kind of exact sword in any of the books I know. I'd say it's certainly historically accurate enough in the look." So who knows? :)
