  1. Brings a whole new meaning to "shake your booty," don't it?
  2. From "Box Office Mojo" - With a second weekend most would covet for an opening, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" continued its record-raiding ways, while two comedies about oddball houseguests vied for second and third place, neither a threat to "Pirates'" booty. "Pirates" pillaged an estimated $62.2 million, the third highest-grossing second weekend ever behind "Shrek 2" and "Spider-Man". Attendance was down 54 percent from its all-time $135.6 million opening—last weekend's gust of demand ensured a sizable drop, yet "Dead Man's Chest" fared within blockbuster norms. With $258.2 million in the till, "Pirates" hijacked the ten-day opening record previously held by "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith's" $236.9 million. It also claimed fastest to $200 million, eight-day and nine-day milestones and doubled what predecessor "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" reaped through the same point. 3. Jack catches the beaten and bewildered Inigo wandering about the pub. He plants a boot in Inigo's lower back propelling him toward Lady Barbosa. "Enjoy, love! Leave enough for the liivestock!"
  4. Jack turns back to Silkie. "A drink?" He steps back as Capt. Sterling goes flying over a table. "Sounds wonderful, dear. Lead the way!"
  5. "Fair enough, Capt. Sterling. Chivalry isn't dead, after all. Just on extended holiday. Ladies! Feel free to fend for yourselves, as I've got important... things to do. Ta!"
  6. Nice to see ye fought him off, love! I'd hate to see you sullied by his likes... that's my job!
  7. Jack tosses a sarcastic gaze at Sterling. "Thanks for the show of heart, mate. No douby Davy Jones got a good price for it!" He shoves Joaquin forward into a table with his boot. He stows his pistol, cutting Inigo across the back with his cutlass in the process. He grabs Sterling's sword and tosses it in Rumba's direction. "Rumba! Your hand, please!"
  8. As they watch Rumba sashay into the shadows, Jack creeps up behind them and places his pistol at the base of Joaquin's skull, and his cutlass at Inigo's neck. "Gentlemen! A word of advice, yeah? Roughing up the ladies of this establishment will draw you a faster death than your unfortunate Spanish lineage. Retreat now, and sail away in your Spanish spitoons... pardon me! "galleons"... and you get to live. Or the alternative is that I step back and let the women eviscerate you. I just washed this shirt, mates. I'd hate to get it all bloodied once they tear into you. Terrible splash and spray, all over everything..." Jack casts a sharp look to Capt. Sterling, and the fray begins...
  9. Oh, no. I'd hate to see it turn in to a "Monkey-humpitis-gobitemyass-whooptypoopoo-nomakeumsense" kinda cartoon...
  10. Hmmm... Is there a "Dumber that rocks" category? You know full well my head's full of all manner of arcane knowledge, sweetness. But this is goofy sh*t that most don't know!
  11. "Super-monkey-hyper-whatsis-bitemyass-boogabooga-huh"? This is a cartoon?
  12. Jack as a cartoon? Will they still let him drink rum? Aside from part of an apple, that's all we've ever seen him consume...
  13. Morally ambiguous, self-serving, and aloof. Sounds like a pirate!
  14. *SIGH!* That's one more lump of coal for Bess' Christmas stocking...
  15. The price of a barrel of crude oil has topped $78, and President Bush tries to break the news to a toddler that the child's college fund has been raided in order to keep the family lawn mower running.
  16. Aye, mate. And how many of us are doing the very same thing from day to day? :)
  17. Damnit! Where's the delete button?! Crap! I'm busted...
  18. But they're ever so comfy! Um... from what I hear.
  19. Thanks for the clarification, Bess. I though Evans was overstating the case. I'd be perfectly happy for it to end after #3.
