  4. Oh that's cool!! Imagine 75 years ago a similar one probably sold for five bucks. I bookmarked it. That would make a fine burfday present ifin' I wasn't needin' a new sewing machine.
  5. Agreed! I'd love to be on deck. There's a game review I read I'll find it, that you are on board, and controling the ship. Looks cool! Izzy
  6. I'm in Cincinnati, two hours South. Any takes here?
  7. Thanks Redd and Thanks Carrie! :) :) When are the dates for the fest? All work and no play makes this a sad day for Pyracy. Well, says this Lass. Anything to get me on the Ocean! Please.

I'll take photos of it here in a few days. http://garbmonger.tripod.com/ But he's also got photos of other Pirates from Southern Cal Faire wearing them also, on the last page. they look nice, big brim, and easy to make. :) Izzy
  9. Ooo! Cool! I'm always up for new games. I got the Pirates of the Carribean game, but have to get more harddrive space for it, before I load it, can't wait to go online with that one. I'm checking out the link you sent me! I also checked out your site, and was like 'Yeah! A game geeks" Lovingly said of course! Thanks for the link for Puzzle Pirates. It loaded and I'm off to look! :) :) Izzy
  10. I found one place it's nearly 9.00 a feather, but the place isn't too bad for other types either. http://www.ostrichesonline.com/cgi-bin/sto...sion=1125400435
  11. I'm in Cincinnati, Ohio. Wisconsin isn't bad, but do they do mail order? Hm. I've got a place online but you need to order so many pieces, which is too many for me. The last place I got feathers was Southern Faire in California but the two I got were grey and pink. They still look good, but I wanted white feathers.
  12. Where was she docked orginally before the sale?
  13. I grew up in Anaheim, so this was one of my favorite rides, along with the Peter Pan ride and Mr Toads. From the change they changed the Pirates chasing the wenches at the town they had sacked, and made the wenches carring food so that the pirates were chasing the "food" and not the um...wenches. Did they change it again? Heck! They change the BEST ride, but leave It's a Small World! Where's the Humanity in that? I still remember how ticked everyone was at Knotts when they change the Bosenberry ride (smelled like bosenberry's) to the Kingdom of the Dinasaures, but they redemed theselves with Kingdom of the Lounge Lizards during Knotts Scarry Farm.
  14. If you haven't seen it, or played it, get it. I got a copy of it last weekend, and it's great. You have to provide wenching, grog, and gambling to make yer pirates happy. You have to create fear for your captives and ships for your Captains! I love the cats that wonder around the island thinking these comments of "I own you." And "Serve me Human!" They have shops later on that make hats, and wooden legs fer yer pirates, long with other things. A Pirate hatching aviary, which is hysterical. It's a great game if you haven't seen it, along the lines of the Civilization games by Serria, but since it's Pirate based it's better! But I really have to say the Jamaican and Island style music is awesome, with steel drums, and French island songs, it's nifty! They are now selling the music on CD because folks loved it so much. I give it 4 pints up!
  15. I've looked all over, but there be no place fer feathers locally to me. Any good places fer feathers? I've got two feathers now, but they not be matchin' my garb I be makin'! Help! :) :) Isabella
  16. I wanted to let ye know, March 1st, my shop opens online for my business, The Weathered Rose. I make bodices for the ladies, and things for the lads. I'm hopin' to add pyrate things also. I'm moderate priced, so that it won't hurt your plunder too much, and make you feel good. All bodices are cut and made to order, with yer fabric or mine. Funny boned (no off colour jokes now!) and grommeted. I love making for plus size wenches and ladies alike. If ye be interested you can email me at theweatheredrose@elvenvoices.com for quotes, comments, and questions. :) I'm working on my domain currently, and hope to be ready soon. :) Thanks! Isabella
  17. I'm in SW Ohio! Ahoy! It's good to see I'm not the only Land lock one here. I agree about Sir Mike's site Faires.com. :) Please take from yer plunder, and lend him some donations if you will. :) I did faire with him, and he is worth blowing some booty on! :)
