I watched a group of about 10 people play that game at gamestorm gaming convention.they used playmobile and had it set up using a very large group of tables pulled together with blue butcher paper and various islands,both playmobile and hand made.

they had lots of fun throwin the monkeys to the sharks...a sick group of gamers

If you need ropes of certain colors, try checking your local outdoor sports stores. Rock-Climbing rope is available in all sorts of "Hurt your eyes" combinations, as well as "boring" colors, too.

(it's also rated for about a 2000 pound tensile strength :) )
