  3. Yeah, Jayne does get some of the best lines... "Mal - imminent violence!" (love that line!) Blackjohn - love the avatar! (This is - excuse me - a damn fine cup of coffee.) Or the lovely Jayne "I'll be in my bunk."

  6. Sorry to get into this so late. But I still have a big ol' soft spot for D&D and a few other tabletops out there. BUt yeah I think the Fourth Edition strove to make it easier so as to free players form the system. However in doing so, it gave folks a more "WoW" (World of Warcraft) feel, or so my buddies complained. I personally liked 3.5 a lot better, but I have had fun with the 4e as well. I think all in all it depends on your DM and those you play with for how that all around experience is going to go for you.
  7. Dutch Slops would be spot on. As Hurricane mentioned petticoat Breeches would work as well. I will tell you that you will not find many people wearing them at the event. Nothing wrong with wearing the ol Rhinegraves, just not many folks wearing them. Awesome, thank you very much.
  8. Happy New Year!!!

  9. Mission- I think the way Plunder was divided amongst the crew and the owners depended on the cargo and the ship. Most likely, what ever coin they got for selling both were given over to the owners (or the crown) while having a small trickle down effect through the crew. I hope that helps?
  10. Yuengling if you can get it, is a rather decent brew. Also Any of the Anchorsteams. I love rum...but I also love me some beer

  13. A question for appropriate trousers of the time, Would petticoat breeches, or dutch slops be PC for this event? I am just curious so I can continue work for the weekend in question.
