The GOF Project closet is bursting at the seems... and the "new project" fund is awfully low... So, I am getting rid of some projects that I am probably not going to get around to any time soon. My lack of productivity is your gain. First up This is an antique ax with pick that I was going to convert to a boarding ax. If you have a grinder, or blacksmithing skills, this would be an easy project. Handle is 16" long, head is 9.5" tip to blade I am going to stick them up here for a few days, then schlock them on E-bay. First Come first served PM' Me if interested... PayPal preferred $32 Shipped

Below is a quick and dirty cotton bell rope. Lanyards of that sort are only $15. Below that is the cat I posted earlier with it's final finish on it. It looks and smells great. Of the things I've made this is one of my favorites.

Well, my ropewalk is up and running so now I'm offering custom cordage for all your needs. Sizes up to 3/4" are currently available from a variety of materials (jute, sisal, manilla, flax, nylon, hard laid cotton, etc.) PM for quote. Pictured below is some 3/8" flax which would sell for 25 cents a foot or so. I'm also bottling and selling my "Square rigger" pine tar based finish that I use on quite a bit of my work but I'll have to look in to whether or not it would be hazmat to ship. I plan to have better sample pictures up asap as well as a youtube video of the process in action.

I currently have one of those Japanese flintlock pistols, same as this previous thread; https://pyracy.com/in...showtopic=13218 I am trying to get some funds together for a Murdoch pistol, so must sell this one. The pistol is one of the good ones, everything is solid, the frizzen sparks well, and the lock seems to have been tuned. Only issue is the metal ramrod is missing the bell-end, but since I was going to get a hickory one, I didn't really care. $200 and she's yours, shipping extra. I don't take PayPal, so a Money Order is best.

I've really appreciated something similar on other boards and so thought to start this thread here. Besides that, I really wanted to give a positive shout-out for At the Sign of the White Rose! I just received a sailor's short jacket (something I've wanted for a long time now) and am very happy. Great work, timely done, and run by our very own Kathryn & Hawkyns. What's not to like?

These are the custom replica wanted posters that I have just started selling from the movie Cutthroat Island. They can be customised with the image of your choice (I can convert photographs to lineart) and Your Name and/or Pyrate Alias. They are printed on heavy parchment paper and have a weathered effect around the edges to replicate being posted outdoors.

I have just now gone on the account, and am starting to get my sea legs. After seeing the Whydah exhibit that is currently in the port of Norfolk, Va., I am looking to buy a quality reproduction of the cartouche box I saw there. Would someone be so kind as tell me where I may find one? Thanks. Capt. Kincheloe

Ahoy! Here are some fine brass spyglasses done up with knotwork and finished with kiln-burnt pine tar! Line used was linen. The large spyglass has a turk's head in cotton around the middle. Both are sealed with kiln-burnt pine tar. (They smell LOVELY!) The first is a medium-sized one that measures about 15" extended. It has a "french twist" around the outer chamber and has a turk's head knot at the transition to each chamber. 12x power. $75 Shipped The second is a very large glass that features an extendable sun shade and measures 36 inches overall when fully extended. It has a turk's head knot at each chamber, plus French spiral hitching on the outer chamber an…

There is a great program in Raleigh nc that is a theater program that caters to troubled and underprivilaged youth that needs our help. They are trying desperitly to build a costume closet, prop room and other nick knacks for their first production of treasure island. A lot of folks here in town have donated a good number of services like light services, backstage help and set design, just not too many people in this area that are as gifted in costuming as my fellow brethern here. So take a look through your sea chest and see if you can find an old broken prop or a torn or tattered shirt, maybe even a coat or tricorn that's been collecting dust and donate it to the cau…

Hello folks, I have, for your consideration, three new 7" clay pipes that have been covered with knotwork in linen twine by yours truly. My work may not be as experienced as Otters, but it certainly serves (pun intended) the purpose. It's amazing how much more of a beating these pipes will take when they've been covered. The top one and the bottom one in the picture feature a "French Twist" and the middle one has a "Running Cockscomb". All three have a "Turk's Head" around the bowl which helps keep you from burning your fingers. They are NOT covered in pine tar for obvious reasons... These are available for $25 each with shipping included anywhere in the U.S. PLEASE e-…

I (Ivan Henry Trading Company) have been working with a local seamstress to carry a 100% Linen Hand Finished Mantua - it's taken me a while to coordinate everything, but now I think we finally have it ready to go! These are custom ordered so allow 6-8 weeks. While I know most of you all here in the pub sew yer own garments, I figure there might be a few who don't and would like a nice mantua. Check it out: 1690s-1710s Mantua
