Well I'm back! The old computer decided to give itself a Viking Funeral, literally! It burned up (hey isn't that smoke coming from that thing?). So a new computer has been bought and I'm back here. I hope nothing else goes wrong. Geesh, I lost everything I had - boo-hoo! Now I have to learn this new computer stuff, much different. Oh arrgghhhhh, well one must always learn how to tie a better knot. So in any case my Lovelies, I'm here with a keg o' rum, so let's party! Rumba Rue **Just when I figured out how to do it, it changes**

Any Swabs out there in North East Florida interested in joining up with me a Black Jack Ryan in forming a Pirate Group? We are in the early stages...sign on and help write the articles. We can't let "The Tales of the Seven Seas" have all the fun. We welcome folks from other ares as long as they visit us once and a while. Captain Viper, Kings Pyrate (Joe O'Steen)

I've been hired for a film in the SE Texas area, and should be there in late March and for at least a couple of months beyond that. Do you have any events or anything coming up? If you do, I'd like to participate, or at least meet up for a couple o' rums. Thanks.

Gotta share this one. Me wifey's school in West Leyden, NY is havin a Scholastic Bookfair this week. The bookfair theme? PIRATES!! They had a total Pirate Day and kick off assembly this past Friday where most all the teachers and principal dressed up like Pirates, they told Pirate jokes and had all kindsa fun. I wrote a couple of the jokes they used an even wrote a short Pirate ditty usin their school in it. Anybody out there have any similar piratey experiences either in a school ye teach in, or one you attended as a little sea urchin? Perhaps ye did a pirate appearance for school kids? Tell us about it matey!!

I've missed being here, and missed many of you. I am trying to get myself going on the right track again. Short story, I lost my dad when I was 12, and my mom when I was 16. All I had was my sister, who was also my best friend. She too recently passed a few months ago. Cancer just got the better of her. So, now I am left to swim alone through the sea, hoping to stay in the right current and not drift away. Thanks to those who never gave up on me!

Mateys I be lookin for a fun Pirate board game. I have seen mention of some but not sure which ones are the best. I be lookin for one that is also not too squirly to learn, and is also not gonna empty me doubloons. (I have seen a game like Dread Pirate for over $80) I was thinkin of the $20-$30 range or less. I have seen some small ones too like LaFitte's Revenge. Give me all the feedback ya can. Give me websites or sources where I might purchase. I saw some last month at Fern Canyon Press, but they soldout and I noticed they only have video games right now.(I don't know how up on these games a place like ToysRus is) Load the guns and fire right at me!!
