Thank You

So I be searching for randoms and I came acrossed this Anne Bonney's the queen of the pirates Anne Bonney flies over the sea Anne Bonney will teach you Yes, let me beseech you To come be a pirate with me. Well, first you need a ship And then you need a crew And only a leaky, creaky ship And a nasty crew will do! And then you need a chest Full of lots of gold and loot And a flag with a skull And a few seagulls And a dirty old pipe to toot! Cute! It's great to be a pirate! Yo-ho, ahoy, ahoy! And you can be a pirate, too Even if you're a boy! To the ship! To the ship! To the ship, ship, ship! Aye, some would say we're mean And some would say we're bad …

Skip Tide All the footprints left before vanished when she stepped and all the heartbreak stored within healed up as she slept The cloudy new tomorrow turned into shored up tears while tiny little crab claws pinched away her fears A mean tide knocked her under then sent her out to sea but she encountered a Skip Tide and it gladly set her free It pushed her body back to shore and placed her on the chair the sandburn made her cheeks quite red and a Starfish hugged her hair A shadow blocked the sun away as a stranger held her gaze he told her of his Skip Tide and how he'd "been kept for days" As dusk moved in and closed its eyes he …

Great to see it’s back, after so many of us wondered off in our real-lives. Interesting to see how much the research has advanced since what was discussed on here. I can say that much of the work on here & members from here helped what came later. Maybe, it’s the foundation of it. Looking at old posts has been interesting. Thanks for putting it back up for the 20th Anniversary!

With pick and shovel we started to dig for treasure buried neath the sand was hid When just a mere three feet down we hit a row of logs well set in carved in the wood were words of fear warnings and curses to not go near With backs set to it we dug them out and started to dig with a hunters shout for hunters we were, daring and bold searching for buried jewels and gold Suddenly as six feet told we came upon some bones of old covered in mud, mire and disease but something else did our eyes see Around ones neck a sign was hung with words forwarning that death would come To any and all who dug, it said That a curse upon his grave is laid We all took pause …

I hate it when threads get soooo long you have to keep scrolling to get to the new stuff so.... I had posted that I have a new site dedicated to the Pirate Re-enactor/Living Historians persuit of an authentic interpretation.... Well, I now have a Pirate's Library page up and running! Just Go to http://www.gentlemenoffortune.com/index.htm and click on the Pirate's Library link (Tews Flag) If you think I have missed any significant work, please let me know. The problem with a lot of "pirate" books is that they re-hash a lot of the same info about the same pirate's bio. So if I missed a book with a lot of meat that is not covered in other tomes.... please pipe up!

Just want to express my excitement over the Iowa Hawkeyes win on New Years day over Florida! :: cheers:: How does this tie in with pirates you say? Simple... the Outback Bowl was held in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers very own stadium! The win was just overly amazing! 38 - 17 I do believe! THIS is the first win for the Hawks in around 27 years for a Bowl game! No joke! I give credit to the luck of the year of the pirate for this! :) I'm SOOO excited & may the year of the pirate reign on into 2004! Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah!

Storm Tossed Mary was a fisher woman and she loved her husband dearly she read romantic novels (at least a hundred yearly) She was a perfect housekeeper and he was a good provider but he seemed to be oblivious to what went on inside her She dreamed about the olden days and he was a modern man he prefered the air conditioning but she'd make do with a fan Her loins were full of fire while his were just lukewarm she often tried to please him at the approaching of a storm He said that it was dangerous and they could "both be hit" she dabbed her eyes with a hanky and said to him "I quit " She loaded up her suitcase and stepped out to …

Everybody, let's give a big round of applause to madPete! Has been demoted from being a useful deck hand on the Pub to one of our company board members. He was instrumental in organizing and making the event at Fort Gaines happen. Thank you again for all your hard work.

Alright ya swarmy sea dogs, listen up! I am in need o' three stout heart'd women to be fillin' out the ranks o' m' crew. Tis a bit o' information ya do be needin' first though afore ya hit the gangplank. First: This crew be o' the renaissance (faire) frame o' mind. (Though we are branching out to include "Dinner Theaters" in our free time) Second: We hae two stage shows that we hire out ta perform plus we work in the streets with patrons (lane interactions) at ren faires. Third: Interested candidates would be takin' on set gem names and would need to provide rainment to match said gem stone color. Fourth: We are an all female privateer crew (legalized pirates for …
