"I like 'Indiana.'"

"We named the dog Indiana."

"May we go home now, please?"

"The dog? You are named after the dog?"

"I've got a lot of fond memories of that dog."

This is Katrina, one of my parent's critters. She's named after the Van Tassel, not the hurricane.

Check out her nose.

You wouldn't think it but they have very sharp claws  every time I give them a bath they do a number on my hands by jumping on them to get out of the water. I think next time I'm wearing gloves

Reminds me of when one of my kids brought the class rat home at the end of the school year. He lived a nice long life (for a rat), and was a lot of fun. Rats are cool !!!

Growing up, we had a cat - lots of them actually. The one in this story was named Peggy Sue. Until, that is, she ate my mother's prized fern. From that time on she was known as That Putrid Cat, or simply Putrid, for short.

I hear that... when Phoebe was a mere 4 months old and already almost 60 lbs we dubbed her *Dogzilla!* :D

Well, you may not realize it but your looking at the remains of what was once a very handsome woman!
