Mad Matt Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 Crikey! It's only Friday, here...... You will be flogged. And God willing, come morning, you will be flogged some more.
Surfer Joe Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 Saturday now ... and Mad Matt never appeared with those Corona ... so I guess Hester and I will have to go to the liquor store today. Can't let the key limes go lonely! Kowabunga, baby!
Red Cat Jenny Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 Aye! Nor squishy...nothing worse than squishy limes.. Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? A delicious rip in time...
Jacky Tar Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Aye! Nor squishy...nothing worse than squishy limes.. Oh I don't know, I squish an squeeze me limes in t' Coronas all the time.
Red Cat Jenny Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Oh? Got an extra Corona JAcky? Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? A delicious rip in time...
Jacky Tar Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Aye, didn't know the CAt drank anythin' other than Samuel Adams, which I tried two nights ago (and found it a bit bitter). Had a Michelob lager yesterday, an Pirate Ale t'day.
Hester Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Aye! Nor squishy...nothing worse than squishy limes.. Oh I don't know, I squish an squeeze me limes in t' Coronas all the time. I like lots of limes in my Corona. I do feel sorry for the cabana boys, though -- having to fish all the squashed lime wedges out of the empty bottles before returning them for the deposit.
Red Cat Jenny Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Aye, didn't know the CAt drank anythin' other than Samuel Adams, which I tried two nights ago (and found it a bit bitter).Had a Michelob lager yesterday, an Pirate Ale t'day. I'll have th occasional Corona wit a lime :) Sam Adams...depends which one ye drink! Ah those poor cabana boys an their limey fingers.. Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? A delicious rip in time...
Jacky Tar Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Sam Adams...depends which one ye drink! Educate me when yer out, 'cause the blue an silver one was bitter.
Hester Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 I just got "carded" by the Samual Adams website! It told me I was underage (bless it) and wouldn't let me in! Never seen Sam Adams here. But then we Canucks are awfully smug and snobby about Yanqi beer and don't tend to import it.
Hester Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 How long does an open bottle of Bailey's 'keep' in the fridge?
Hester Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 That's hilarious, William. It took me halfway through the commercial to realize he was singing a Duran Duran cover!
Red Cat Jenny Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 How long does an open bottle of Bailey's 'keep' in the fridge? Baileys even open does not need to be refrisgerated..or so I am told..anyhow there is a expiration date on the bottle. mmmmm baileys..over ice or ice cream Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? A delicious rip in time...
Red-Handed Jill Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Yeah, but Bailey's is really good when it's cold!
Silkie McDonough Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 All I can say is that after a while the cream does curdle. I have poured it from the bottle in gloppy clumps ...I suspected it was bad then, I wasn't about to taste it. On a happer note, Haggendass (sp?) makes Bailey's Irishcream icecream!
Salty Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 On teh subject o Bailey tis no bad in earl grey tea on a cold night either, never have tried it cold. Mud Slinging Pyromanic , Errrrrr Ship's Potter at ye service Vagabond's Rogue Potter Wench First Mate of the Fairge Iolaire Me weapons o choice be lots o mud, sharp pointy sticks, an string
