Barbados Sam
Why Scarlett luv, we be honest Privateers....no need fer a wanted poster on us lass..... "There be the chest, inside be the gold, we took them all. Spent them and traded them. We frittered them away on drink and food and pleasurable company. The more we gave them away, the more we came to realize... the drink would not satisfy, food turned to ash in our mouths, and all the pleasurable company in the world could not slake our lust. We are cursed men....Compelled by greed we were, and now we are consumed by it."

Dread Mach Brannigan
Ahoy th'er Barbados Sam! I be noticin' in yer bio you play some Bass...what kind o' bass(es) ye be thumpin' mate? Me has an old 60's Fender P Bass the one with the plated pup and bridge covers tha's been modified with a Seymour Duncan hot jazz pup. Also has a (now vintage) 1985 Yamaha BB 1600, natural finish. Yamaha didn't make many of those beaut's but I got me hands on one back in '88 and have heldt on ta the baby, stills looks new. I has several other instruments in me collection too but dem me babies. Barbados Sam
Aye, another shadowy figure in the back of the stage!! My very first bass was a Yamaha BB400. Still have it, but it's got a helluva hum so I don't play it much anymore. Right now I'm playing a Conklin 4 string and a Warwick Courvette Fretless. Looking for a strap-on acoustic that I can take to Ren Faires. Eventually I'd like to get a nice upright as well. Are you playing in a band? I just left the last band I was in......the other members weren't taking it seriously enough......you know the saying, having a band is like pushing a pile of marbles uphill. It's tough to keep them together. Dread Mach Brannigan
Yeah I know wha ye mean. Our old band wuz like square blocks though, no rolling...jest sitting still and doin' nutin', not even tryin' to roll uphill so evrything went downhill from there. I jest do recordin' now in me home studio with PC software and collaborate with others over the net, lots'o fun that way and no deadlines. I'll go and check out yer music at CD Baby, I have some buds th'er with music also. Check out Soundclick & Mixposure alot of talent on dem pages. If your into recording check out GuitaristWorks we have alot of great musicians postin' original music...lots'o right nice folks be hangin' th'er and very helpful.
