Well, lets just say the man has a history of being *not nice, egotistical, mean spirited, nasty, spoiled, self serving and rude* and we'll leave it at that. Depp is one of the best actors I've ever seen in the way that he really gets to know his characters and lives in their skin. It's really quite an amazing thing. There are many other actors who dont have nearly the range who have stacks o' those shiny little bald men. It ye ask me.. I say the real prestigious award is the People's choice awards. They're the ones who actually went to SEE the movies and paid these actor's salaries (especially those of us who go to see a good movie anywhere from 2 - 20 times!) As for Murray... I didn't have an opinion on him until I was watching the golden globes pre-show this year, and he insulted the interviewer's suit quality. That wasn't funny.. it was flat rude. Though I fear he doesn't stand a chance against Bill Murray or Ben Kingsley.
