Wow ok. :)

I still need to talk food with Jenny sometime within the next week. I didn't get to see her on Sunday because she was working. Anything you want to/or can bring would be much appreciated.

We really don't have a budget, so anything food-wise is going to come out of folks pockets, as we are doing this to help raise money to keep the ship open.

Anyway. Yes. Anything you can do to help, Silas, is more than appreciated. I will email Jenny right now.

My flight is booked! That means I am officially invading....er.....participating! Also....BIRTHDAY TRIP! YAY!

I always wondered where people in Florida went for vacations.

Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?"

John: "I don't know."

Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."

Yeah, I told my Family I am going to Columbus, Ohio for my birthday. They are bewildered. But, then again, I've bewildered them for a long time, so its nothing new!

Dang... thought that was him... we ended up in one of the sutlers' tents, a potter, I was visiting with Lord Grey's and we just would look at each other, then look away, then look at each other and look away... too funny.... Next time ye see him tell him I apologize for not saying hello, but his kit was so different... and I was in jeans.

Hopefully will see them next weekend....so will do. :)

BTW- Santa Maria semi-update....

We went to the ship today to help with the Up-Rigging. I only took 450 photos or so of it...will post on photobucket shortly.

Ship looks alright. She needs some paint and a new coat of varnish, other than that she looks well-loved. Got all of the sails up, etc...Mickey worked in garb, of course, only to realize later that most of his garb is dark colors, so it can't be "Dutchified" quite the same, but it is looking more well worn and lovely.

I just checked the KOA campground just east of Columbus, OH Buckeye Lake KOA $65 (with a free second night's stay) for a small cabin that sleeps 4

Buckeye Lake is about a 35 to 45 minute drive (pending traffic and the lead footedness of the driver) from Downtown, but that is really not a bad price. We live about half way between Buckeye Lake and downtown. Thanks for mentioning that Callenish, that is another good option for those considering coming!

It was me. I was paying attention to the pottery so I didn't notice you. My wife, Jennie, and my brother-in-law were there, too. You might remember them from Pirates of Paynetown 2007.

I am holding my breath and can't attend. What's up with all this?

Still hoping I can attend but I'm not holding my breath.

Sorry to hear that Lady B, hope things work out for you though... There is still about a month left for things to work themselves out.

Yeah, hence why I'm still hopeful. Would be fabulous to spend my birthday on the Santa Maria surrounded by awesome friends. :) Sorry, not really up to for another ice cream cake from Dairy Queen and my family making a very sad, poor attempt to cheer me up.

So, still hopeful.

LOL... better to be called a Dude than something else.
