  1. Thank you Spike for all of your hard work. I had a great time this year, and will most assuredly be there next year. Keep up the good work but remember that all work and no play makes a dull spike. I'll always have a tankard to fill for you.

  2. I really like Pat's idea about the signs. Send me the info you would like for them to read, and I can build them as wooden sidewalk signs to resemble old tavern signs with interesting facts for the public. Plus next year I plan on driving down and I can bring them along. I have a few tavern signs I've made this year at work, and just finished one for my backyard called the "Tiderunner Tavern". I would be glad to bring it along and create a hang-out-spot where we can serve BBQ and Brew for the Buccaneers and all the pirates at PiP.

How can we pit a pig in the coral at Key West? Do we cheat and bring a smoker?

  3. I had a wonderful time as well! It was good to see old a new friends in Key West this year. My favorite moments were:

The campsite fun, it was legendary with the Pyrates of the Coast, St Augustine crew, and Patrick "No Pants" Hand

Silkie the sweetheart and her cousin Finn was a likeable fellow also

The great dinner served by the Archangel Crew

    The walk with Odorless Eye

Talking tech with Papa Tony Ratzzi

Shooting the breeze with Stynky, Mission, and William (btw William's friend's monmouth caps are the warmest, coolest hats around)

My tent holding up to the mini hurricane

Dogge the Ghosty Hunter and his wild adventures

And all my Pirate Brethren! See you soon!

  4. You'll be happier with a good pair of shoes on the coral than with a cutlass anyway .........

Oh come on. I almost perfected the "Barefoot Coral Dance." What I hated was getting one of those buggers in my shoe. I also found a use for the coral as a pillow, yet you might wake up looking like you have the Pox on your face.

  5. This is our gem Leeloo. She is also referred to as the Love Potato, for being able to transform into a giant potato while lying on top of you & Ninja Dog, for her paws of fury and her stealthy crawling ability

Here she is enjoying the day at the beach.

  6. So that there isn't any confusion, I've decided to change my name slightly, from Master Studley to Master Sully. I believe I acquired the name Studley several years ago (PiP 2003 with the Pyrates of the Coast) from the large amount of piercings "studs" I had in my face, as well as my love of picking up heavy things. Could also be my way with the women. Somtimes I get strange looks from clients. They aren't sure if they had booked a pirate or a pirate stripper because of the name.

Anyway it's a fresh name for a fresh new year. Hello again to old friends and new ones as well, this round is on Sully!

  7. its nice to be able to live vicariously by at least seeing the fun everyone had there....by the grace of God, I/we hope to be there for next year

You were there in spirit. We wish that you had been able to go. Next year we'll come and drag you down if need be.

  8. An' please don't be brin' any chickens.  We's gots our fair share already.  How about a rooster hunt instead? :D

If any of you blokes can catch some, bring them down to my fire. I'll pluck em', clean em', and cook em' up for you a la' Key West.

  9. Just think , "The Great Pirate Attack" PiP 2008... starring...

The infamous pirate, Captain Cascabel, leading the seaside attack.

Braze the brave, his first mate, leading the attack on the fort.

His first line, the deadly Bone Islanders, Spike, Scarlett Jai, and Nigel

General Harry, defending his fort with devastating artillery.

Governor Yellowbeard, nervously pacing about the ramparts.

His scribe, Willam Red Wake, attempting to calm his nerves with rum.

Captain Sterling, leader of the Royal Guard, clashing with the advancing pirates.

And many more talented actors/ actresses thrown into the mayhem.

  10. We have a year to locate a boat, or at least convert a modern one. There is one pulled up behind the fort. I heard it needs a little work to get her seaworthy. I wonder if another state park in Florida might have one? Fort King George in Darien, GA , 30 minutes from the Florida line , has a circa 1720 scout boat that might be used (crossing fingers). It would be awesome if we could get several boats/ ships to get involved.
