We have all seen the multitude of Ren Fairs right? I was thinking of a pirate fair. What would you all like to see at one? What do you think would work best. Do you think that a Carrabiean theam would be better or a general theam. Of course there would have to be water involved but how much and to what end? How long should it be open. Sorry about the spelling.

What would I like to see? Cannons.., lots of cannons. Women ..., lots of women.

A Ship ., small tho it may., still...., a ship.., with cannons.

A World theme....., Pirates were all over the world with very little...,no.., none.,no critisism.

Water.., yes.,the ocean...,very calm waters for the weak stomached but ocean none the less ..., to no end. A literal waterworld of 7107 Islands.

I'm currious ifen any one knows how to capture the POTC music and get it to play when the box is opened.. Just an idea... 

Record your wave on your PC Go to Radio-Shack pick up at 9volt playback. they are about ten bucks and pretty small.

Play the Wav on your PC and put the RadioShack Playback by the speaker and hold down the record button., when the playback is triggered it will play your wav. you can also get a large variety of switches one of which willwork for when you open the lid.

I used this technique building a high end .,TOS tricorder back about 6 or 7 years ago when I was really into Star Trek Props.

Eye.., before 50 is the goal..,48 will be a key year., 49 I should be there and 50 running the place...., Eye hope. The more Eye save the more inflation goes up with it. Right now I am still just chasing the dream.

Here is some work which was done to make chips.., no chips yet., still preparing. Wes had to make a drill in order to Bore the cannons out., and he likes boring first because it lightens the load on the lathe first thing. Also with drilling stainless he knew the bit would get hot and dull ., so he drilled a hole thru the bit to run coolant thru his bit..., pretty smart guy !

From this last pic I am sure you can see the bit is stationary and the cannon turns., this way he can get the coolant down the bit.

Sorry no cannon pics yet..., but the next photos will be cannons in the making.
