Aye lads and lasses, was glad to read in the latest NQG that the Royaliste be sailin up to Alex Bay once again this year. I hope a good lot o'ye can come up to help ol Bill Johnston once again take the town. I be plannin on attending the first weekend meself, as me last 2 years hath seen the 2nd weekend. Aye Royalist crew, I will make sure I visit ye down at the docks before the sailin begins!

Well thank ye all goodness that the rumor bestowed unto me back in the early spring was NOT true!! Sterling is alive and well for another year!! If anyone goes to the Pirate weekend, please post about it, as I would like to know if it is worth checking out some year. I heard afterward that last year's was a bit of a disappointment for some pirates who attended, but since it was there first go at such a weekend, perhapse try #2 will be better (as so many things go). Let us hear all about it!!

Once upon a time it was easy to figure out when and why gas would go up... summer, holidays, a few other reasons. Now it be just whatever, whenever, 5 more cents a day in some cases, with no real reason. I agree with most o'ye. They keep sayin they have more in reserve then ever, so it not be likin we has a shortage goin on. And we don't get it all from the MidEast. We have alot of our own drillin spots right off the coasts. Its a big excuse game right now. Some how, somethins gotta make it give. I hope to still make Alex Bay this summer as it only be a couple hours away. The West Canada Creek voyage be much closer, so only bad weather would wipe that one out fer me.

Aye lovely lass that be quite beautiful. As fer my it be a bit more pyratey. The album Salsa of The Caribbean by Puerto Rican Power (they even be dressed like Pyrates on the front). Good dancin disc to lifts yer spirits.

Ahoy all ye lads and lasses. Another fair vessel be added to me fleet. (Shouldst I be an Admiral now??) Me local Big M Supermarket always has these spring raffles sponsored by Labbats Blue. This spring one of the prizes was a beautiful kayak. I got the call Friday morning that I won it, so I went and picked it up. Very well built one, and good length/width fer sturdiness too. I invite all ye lads and lasses over to The Hot Tub to celebrate with me and hereby christen THE LUCKY LOUIE!!

Aye lads and lasses! Doth anyone out there know that status of the Sterling Renaissance Faire in Sterling, NY. A bloak came to me place this past weekend and did mention that said Faire, which woth sold to folks with great expectations fer its future, woth sold yet again, and thereby disbanded from existance (in otherwords to someone who bought the land JUST FER THE LAND, AND GOT RID O'THE FAIRE!!) Can thar be anyone who can confirm that, either true or false??

Have it in a small coastal town, either on the ocean, or another large body of water (Caribbean, Great Lakes etc..) that be really willin to let itself go and let the festival happen. Be willin to take on a more pyratey atmosphere durin the days and nights of it. Make some facade changes to add somethin more pyraty to the businesses too. Add exhibition tents, areas fer performing groups etc.. Don't forget to invite Pirate Bands like the Jolly Rogers, The Bilge Pumps and all ye can name.

Aye tis what we call the beginnings o'Mud Season here. The snow startin to wash off, but it be quite icy. Then we has a time where it be muddy n'wet till it gets real warm. Soon I can set up me outdoor pirate display. Spring'll be here soon.
