  4. Hmmmm, I honestly never thought of that frock coast, waistcoat and breeches as historically correct, but I guess you're right. Duh, being blond has it's drawbacks.
  5. I'm in it for the fun. However I admit for the very first time, I've made a Historically correct outfit....now to get pictures.... Blackjohn, it's about time you gave up trying to "police" people. I did ages ago. :)
  6. Very interesting, I was surprised to see a tiered skirt. However I thought the material looked horrid.
  7. I can't remember where I read it, but ships did keep what's called a 'smoking lamp' on board, usually near the galley. Most likely a simple wick lantern that the globe could be raised up for lighting other things, like the cannons.

  12. I have everything done for my riding habit outfit, now to get pictures! If it's not too hot this weekend I'll have Boats do it, preferably outside as it's nicer backgrounds than my apartment.
