Hold off on that dice game. Oderlesseye bought it and we tried to play it, but there's lots of loop holes. It's basically a liar's poker. The main problem is there's nothing for those who have or want to fold. The simple idea is to lie about what you really have and try to get others to believe you. If challenged, and you don't have it, you lose a dice. Well when you get down to three or less dice and others have more than you, there's no way you can beat them, unless you can cheat somehow. I also thought it could use some poker chips for betting. The dice are kind of cool, there's a skull and crossbones on one side, to represent a wild card. The cups on the other hand, we weren't sure what they were suppose to be, something akin to a pier piling or doggy poo. Take your pick, they even come with fake barnacles.

Well now having seen Oderlesseye's backyard in person, I can tell you he's done a fantastic job! I love the camoflauge (sp?) top, and the fountian with the different colored rocks he's embedded into it. I gave him a couple of ideas that I think would make it even better so I'll see if he follows through. I'd like to see it again after he's done more work on the place. I gave him a bunch of stuff- he was like a kid in a candy store, going nuts over everything I brought for him. I do have to say Oderlesseye, and his wife Sweet Cricket are just the greatest people!

ah yes what you can put over your easy-up at events. tis a bit much for a friggin' cheesy canopy. Oh, yes the gunny sacks are fun. Too bad they are so small, it's hard to hide bodies in them.

Ooooh, I just happen to catch the Travel channel one day with some gal walking about Georgia, and she did a brief tour of the Pirate's House. Looks like a place I'd like to visit. :)

Has anyone here locally heard about this faire? Calif.Ren-faire It's news to me. It's brand new, anyone heard of the people putting it on? It's not too far up the I-15 from me (Lake Elsinore area/Ortega Highway)
