Changed to just one night, Friday the 22nd. but there will be a general meet for the Freemen on Sat. and Kathryn.. I can't wait to meet you. You have been a great friend and rennie sister to me. I can't begin to say how much your support has meant to me. And I already named my first born after you. He likes it. :)

Tito laddy, be care full of the mermaids around here, for they do like to play! And going under a waterfall is not my idea of fun now.. I had a fist fight with my 18 year old, and I think she won. I have bruises all over, and I accidently caught her earring but it was that or not breath. She finally figured out she outweighed me. It wasn't all her fault, but I would never have hit my mom. Ever. Her... she thinks she can do what she wants, and gets help from her dad. Takes 4 ibuprophine and decides to go for a snooze early.

Finds the keg labeled Private Reserve of Merrydeath, opens it for her and Doc, since everyone else is out having fun. I have a headache the size of Montezuma's gold pile, worked today 8 to 4:30, then have to go back at 6 to 2.. am. I can't find my stuff cause my blasted kids moved it, and just found my leather hat under a suitcase. Finds a can of soup, puts it on the fire in a pot for supper. Again. "I know he's out at an Oyster Fest, but I do wish he had said goodbye."

This sea battle sounds interesting.. wish I was going! I will have to sit and wait in the Midwest, gettng drunk and cold..

About boning, if you have any boobage at all, plastic or 'fake whale bone' will bend like a pretzel when you bend over. and it can break if it gets very hot like in a dryer. Most good bodices have metal pieces for the boning. And if you want good cleavage, wear a bra under the chemise.

Just a comment, but isn't that redundant? and Scupper is in and out like the wind lately, here for a few posts and then out for a while. I keep wondering if I am attached to a ghost. :)

I guess there will be 2 invasions, one on the 15th, and another one on the 23rd. There will be a special occasion one for the Free Men and a special guest. Post here if you can make it or have questions.

Olaf laddy, same here, I'll help where I can. I miss my gran, even tho she died when I was 12. She was the only one to survive from 6 of them (she had a tendancy to kill them off ) from both sides. She used to make rock hard molasses cookies, cut my hair so bad I hid for a week, made me kill a mouse in her closet, and everyone says I have her smile. Can't beat that for a legacy. Remember your grands now, and when you gather, WRITE down the stories for later. I lost a bunch of my past information when I didn't pay attention. Good luck to you and strength to you and kin.

Thanks Hurricane, but I have my ticket now, and its a steep charge to change it. I guess I am going come hell or high water, and KW has had both! Thanks for the tips, and I am sure others can use them also. I did look at the airtravel tips. I might just leave my blades at home but mail my hat. Its a pretty thing that is hard to pack. :)

wow.. good information! Thanks to all of you who helped. Its been 20 some years since I traveled by air, so this is going to be weird. I am a bit nervous about all of this, but you have helped. I just hope I can get there early enough. I have a bad habit of not allowing enough time. My bodice has wide metal panels in it, heavy ones. I think it will be okay, and I might just leave my daggers behind. No sense losing something to show off. BTW, my ticket went up $100 from last week, and another $20 while I was looking at the flights. It's now $407 from small city Ia to KW round trip.
