  1. I can't believe I'm thinking of this, but I found a flight for under $500 from MN to KW.. and my last big vacation was 2004 at KW. I'm just wondering about lodging and just what days do I want to be at KW?? That is for Wednesday to Monday... I would miss the Wench contest if I went Thursday, tho.. and I would have to get the time off work (damn surgery)

can anyone help me with info and lodging?

  2. I jest love gettin ye hot and bothered. Small parts??? well I am Irish....

Irish.. are ya saying you have a leprochaun dingle?? that all us lasses have to do is grab your sprite and make a wish??

and in my usual offbeat way, may I say.. TASTE THE RAINBOW!

Ransom luv, had a weird thing happen today. I found some old mail that hadn't been opened since May. One was a check from my insurance for $250 (yeah!!) and the other a note that my mamogram was irregular and needed another shot of my chest.. it was from 4 days before I had my phone call about the cancer. If I hadnt' had the phone call to have me come in for more tests, I would have left it go for another 4 months. And this is why the rum is gone.

  3. I should be in bed for my 5 am wake up.. but I wanted to say congrats on your home, Rumba!

Siren, you know you have my support and my good wishes.. if that can help.

Jill, sounds like a grand time! I'm sure you will remember your excitement for a long time.

anyway, I'm doing better; my tendonitis in my shoulder is going away, I dont have cancer that spread to my bones, I dont have much extra money but I can pay my bills, I have another faire this weekend and then get to see friends in MNRF the week after..

    so its all good!! woohoo!

  4. Merrydeath sips her sangria, motions to Ray for another drink and tells the passing waitress to send over some sopapillas with chocolate.

along with the others, she will listen for a while, with her knife off peace-tie.

  5. LadyB.. Good news indeed! I know you were attached to the Jeep but onwards and upwards! I'm glad you have transportation, so may be its just a moment to a job and better times.

I hope my hint at a job helps you at least for the moment. Chin up, lass.. I'm pulling for ya!

We have a touch of re-anactor about us, but with a pinch of fantasy to add fun. If you want to join us for the re-anactor fest in February, and possibly the Port Washinton WI fest in June, email me at yorkrose7@yahoo.com, heading Join The Crew.

  7. I was thinking about him today.. wishing him well and hoping all went well!! Its wonderful to hear he is doing ok and on the way to a slimmer and healthier Rover.

I'll have to buy him a diet soda or tea at the faire, but I'm a happy pirate to hear the good news!!
