    Ships Bells App - Perhaps the Easiest Way to Improve Your Impression

    While I won’t go into details of the watch system, as it has been covered in other threads (click the tags above to see the related threads), I thought our assembled might find this app useful.

    When installed, the app helpfully chimes out watch hours - a great way to understand and reinforce how the bells were struck, and when. For those interested in the dog watch option, you may click the Royal Navy setting.

    For those individuals who are time challenged (such as myself), the bells are an excellent audible reminder to keep me on track.

    Well, Stynky and I have been talking a fair bit recently. But the early morning wake up call from Mission certainly surprised me! We nattered on for over an hour about upcoming events, the Pub, Star Wars, pop tv, costuming, research… but as usual, he had me laughing most of the time. It was good…

    To all who contributed - thank you for everything. May the Pub, and Twill, live on as a fond memory of the amazing, creative, brilliant folks we have chosen to share our free time with. Thank you, especially, to those that worked so hard behind the scenes to make it possible.

    Just a quick note - double pneumonia and bronchitis, losing 9 pounds in a week, means the Merchant and dear Mark Longshanks will not be in attendance this year, for the first in many.

    Hey... something is weird with that page...

    I just got a nasty virus...some add for virus protection that I can't get off of my computer...

    I know Fayma didn't do it... but these chunks of sh** embedded a program when I went there....

    www.buy-internet-security2010.com (and DO NOT check them out.... it's a virus...a program that downloaded onto my computer, and I can't delete it....

    now I get a pop-up ever few minutes telling me about a virus... and it's them......

    You are not the only one, Patrick. Same has happened to me - scareware called Antivirus Soft. So, no computer until I get it fixed - the iPhone will have to get me thru til then (limited, but better than nothing).
