  1. Fisherman? Oh, dear. LOL... Dutch... ye best put that image of ye as a Fisherman up swiftly or I'll be stuck with th' image of ye lookin' like th' Gordon's Fisherman with th' jingle stuck in m' head!

  2. LOL... I'm deeply touched and entertained with m' fellow pirates! T'was never a grander lot of people! Huzzah to ye, Pubmates!

O, Cross... I dare pray that Hector would! <_<

Hahaha, nicely done, Gertie. Aye! Request granted! ;)

And Iron Hand... Tis all th' reason I be seekin' immortality. Now, if th' Devil is Hector... by all means, let him lay his claws upon me all he wishes! ;) Or Blackbeard. Or some other seafaring devil. ;) If I must go t' Heaven, may it be in th' "Fiddler's Green" district! ;)

As to th' rest of ye, including Sterling and Wes... thank ye.

O, and Chrispy... Nice hat. ;)

  3. LOL... Nice reference. :)

Huzzah and congrats, Bo! We knew ye could do it! T'wasn't a doubt in our minds. Go! Corrupt th' minds of today's youth! <_<

  4. O, what a darling! I'm guessin' a lass by th' looks of th' Molly Roger onesie? She's a hell of a cutie and will be a grand piratess someday! ;)

  5. Welcome to th' Pub, Davey Bones! Ye've come to th' right proper establishment for pirates. A grand place t' congregate and carouse.

Lookin' forward t' hear more 'bout thee. Hopefully will cross paths with ye at some event.

  6. A friend on Facebook sent a pic of one of the character actors to me via my Wall. And I was rather intregued. The gent was quite the looker, too! So, she gave me the link where she obtained and told me it's a new Spanish series with Spanish actors in Spain about Pirates!

Oh, I admit, I would LOVE to see this series! Even if I can't understand a word of Spanish!

Here's the link she provided me. And hopefully, someone might have some more info, more links to clips, etc.

    Link: Piratas!

  7. I keep hopin' I can make it. We shall see. I have at least one member of the Resurrection planning on attending this event, thus far. Shall keep watching the website. And hopefully gas won't be $6 or $7 a gallon by that time.

  8. I really like the painted image. The coloring and shading is rather good. I agree with the others that your artwork is good and improving. A body in motion is THE hardest to really understand. Been drawing such since I was 4 yrs old and the body - animal or human - STILL gives me grief! :) But, a constant study of people, photos of people, etc, even an articulate wood statue for art students help.

Keep at it, lad. Love to see more of what ye got! Especially since I've seen quite a bit of concept art by various artists, most ametuer, a few pros. Keep at it! Love the Pirates.

  9. I made a fine Shepherd's Pie back during St Patrick's Day (along with corned beef, cabbage and potatoes) and it turned out fantasticly! Used ground lamb, yukon gold potatoes, carrots, onions, peas and of course, tossed in a full large can of Stout that was imported from England! Made a massive skillet of it, and my family who does not like lamb or that sort of thing, goobled the pie down to the point there was nothin' left! I was so proud!

Alcohol, always makes it better!

  10. Good question, Red Dawn. I quite enjoy squid depending upon how it's prepared. Some squid is just out of this world fantasticly delicious, while others taste like rot and manure.

Hopefully someone has some info on squid and other seafood for the GAoP time frame.

  11. See... there ye go! Hope ye can attend a pirate event soon enough, Smythe. :)

And yes, Paynetown IS happenning this year...

Good deal. Thank ye Michael. Has someone posted about it in Raids yet? I had a member of my crew ask about it.

Smythe, hope t' cross paths with ye at some event someday. Til then, enjoy the carousing with the many pirates here!

  12. Ahoy, and welcome Smythe. Glad ye came to this fine piratical establishment. Shall look forward to more conversations with ye.

Aye! Bo be in that state, as is Silas Thatcher, Wes be near there. A few others, if I'm not mistaken. He's in good company with all we landlocked pirates.

If ye don't mind my askin', where in Missouri be ye, Smythe?

Again, Welcome, Smythe. I'm neighbor to ye, so t' speak, up here in th' Land Between Two Rivers aka Iowa.

I know that there be a Pirate Fest in St. Louis. Plus some pirates gather at Fort de Chartres (coming up the first weekend in June) down around that area. If ye fancy a roadtrip, Pirates of Paynetown (if they have it this year), the Port Washington Pirate Fest (north of Milwaukee, WI) and a pirate fest in Michigan as well. Others around if I recall, too. Midsouth Buccaneers has some of that info.

There be a couple of good events around.

Ye be in grand company, good Smythe! ;)

  13. Welcome to th' Pub, Munk. Ye've come to a fine establishment for piracy. Glad ye stumbled in and shall look forward t' conversin' with ye.

Storms at Fells Point? Sounds like Port Washington. Oh, dear. Did the "curse of Port Washington" follow ye, Sterling?
