  1. Luck be on our side, I have found a local print shop who is willing to help us with our project and she is getting together some options for printing. I am excited to hear about your opportunity with press printing, it is really fun to do, but a bit messy. I am going to continue to look at options, but she has told me that we can get up to 24"X 36" parchment. We could look at reproductions of your fine work on the Mercury Draught as well, if you would so desire. Thoughts?
  2. I have found 13"X19" Parchment styled papers that were very affordable to use. There were also smaller sizes available, mostly 8.5"X11". If we have the art from William Red Wake along with the Draughts from the Mercury, some story line background and history, then a listing of events, I believe we may have the beginnings of our booklet. It would be relatively easy to print if we have all of the files. Any thoughts?
  3. I have been reading your posts about a newspaper booklet, and have some things to add. I have found that we could use a linen type of paper in the smaller sizes (8.5"X11" or less) but we have the capability to print large format up to 44" wide on the short side, so larger "booklets" would not be much of a problem. I have found some textured papers that might well suit what we want, but we would need to narrow down our goals and the number of pages. The large format doesn't allow for a true linen paper that would be affordable unless we go with a "newspaper" type stock. Obviously a larger paper would have less pages, but how easy will it be to carry and keep? Also, might want to put the schedule of events in? We would be happy to help with the printing of such a booklet.
  4. Many thanks for adding us to your group's order. We are looking forward to seeing you all again. I will keep monitoring the thread for instructions.
  5. The Crewe of the Sacred Heart will take 5 lanterns, if ye please. Let me know how to pay for them, or how to make my order. Do we just tell them that we are with PIP? Also, would like them shipped to Key West if possible, to save shipping from Indiana. Mighty fine lanterns, they are.
  6. Thanks mates for such a warm welcome! My husband and I have digital photography from such wonderful ports as the Pirates in Paradise Festival and the Ohio Renfaire. We put into port and use our magic pixie box to capture some of the best in Pirate Pics. My fabulous hat comes courtesy of the Blonde Swan, and I have never been so proud to wear something so bold. Cheers to you all, hope to see you all in port for PIP 2007. See pics at: www.callahandigitalart.com
  7. Located these tin lanterns, thought you might be interested in taking a look. I think it's a great idea to get some to donate to the fort. Tony and I will get 2 lanterns each, and donate 1 each to the fort. Let us know if these work, I like the personal tin or the ships double, or post which ones you all are getting and where to find them. Thanks, Fayma www.ushist.com/set-dressing/lanterns_candle.htm
  8. Sorry for the delay on the photos, Tony has been in and out of town and we have sent off our son Eric to the Navy so he is an official sea rat now. Also, there is no charge for the vendors and cast to obtain the disks, we just needed to kknow who wants them and addresses to send. We will be refunding yours. Plans underway to get them out as soon as Tony returns this next week. Glad I finally got onto the board! Keep me posted.
  9. Ahoy Mates, The Crewe of the Sacred Heart a.k.a. the Callahan's will be sailing in from Indiana for another fine Festival at the Fort. We are in the process of figuring out vacation time and $$ of course, but Tony and I will definately be there for more photos and fun! Wouldn't miss it for the world. We will be coming in early, and we would be happy to help with set up etc. Hope you all have enjoyed the pictures on our website. If you missed them, it is: callahandigitalart.com See ya in November!
