I hear ya on the bills thing, Merry. I actually sold one of my costumes from the galaxy far, far away to pay for the sword. Well worth it in my opinion. Now I know I said I'd have pics up after last weekend, but well, time got away from me, heh. So here are some now!

Matt said earlier he couldnt find the reference pics I sent him for Teagues' sword. So I resent them to him, and I'll post them here. Sadly, I havent been able to get a pic of anything other than the pommel and part of the shell hand guard, but I think it's going to rock regardless!

What about turning one o' them skulls into a ring? I'm working on a Captain Teague, and he has a nice skull ring that I'll be needing to acquire.

Well I stopped into a small local place and inquired about getting some. The mate behind the counter had heard of it, but said if its not carried by a state distributor, theres nothing they can do.

It IS good stuff! I got to try some at Pyrate Con. The only problem is its not available outside of the Keys. Sigh. So I'm not sure when I'll ever get any again. Unless any of the Florida brethern want to hook a pirate up.

Looks good mate! I checked 2 Kmarts here, one had the dvd player, but they were askin $28 and they had a floor model of the cd player, $10 but it didnt work! and they still expected to sell it!! The other had nothing Drat!!

Aye, I have to agree with ya luv. The wife and I made opening day the first weekend, then Saturday and Sunday the second. It was truly a great start to a "new" faire with much room to grow!

Aye, I think a good time was had by all. We made it back just fine, Clay. Greg let us spend an hour at his place till the worst of it passed. It was just rain and lightning the rest of the way.

Rum cake!! Count me there! Aye, t'was a fine Bday I had. Got to spend it with me piratey friends from KC: Greg, Clay and Heather, and the wenc...I mean wife. And yes, rum was had! While I say you've got a good choice in ol' Geoffrey there, I can probably say with absolute certainty it wouldnt be him, due to Barbossa. Just my hunch. I do think the afore mentioned Mr. Butler could pull it off. At least he's tall enough.
