Buy about $20 - 30 bucks worth of linen or wool and make your own... OK now listen up mate because this is real important....... I C-A-N-'T sew either!!! Yet I figured out how to make the basics.... If mom has an old machine or if you have to do it by hand.... It will be worth it.... Ever see the cable series Deadman's Gun?? I agree it could even be whole new characters shown only once or twice for a 2 part episode. Then have little cameos of known characters... I'd love to see it

No kind of rumors or anything... I had just been jaw jacking with a neighbor about the GAoP reenacting and he mentioned how it would be great to have a series... I mentioned some would probably get sick of just Jack and it would have to be more of a made for cable series. Anyone remember the hitchhiker series where they had a fellow narrate then it went into the story line??? I thought it would be cool to have Jack in there sometimes, but other times develope other characters or background stories... Kinda like in the Deadwood series. Just thought I'd throw this out there, since I'm sure we all like the films in our own way...Plus you can never get too many historically based films or series. take care Rats

Then it's an excellent move to have the camp there! Let's face it, we're there to have fun... But with out the spectator support, we're out in the cold and the rum is suddenly all gone! Which is why we don't have a problem working with the reds. Besides, if there isn't an effective antagonist for the "good guys" there's no reason for mixing it up. Any word as to how many reds and cannon are planning to show??? Rats

Yeah I actually recieved a bunch of calls praising my generosity!! So that was pretty good form! I can't complain! You have to take care of your own and buying some drinks for the crew is the least I can do!

So from the pics posted by Mary Diamond, we'll be in the point and west beach area. Correct? I have to agree with Hurricane. This seems like much more sense than trying to have the cannons shoot all the way over from the fort. It's better to consolidate the ship, the red cannons as well as the pirates on the shore closer... For the crowd that is!! The idea machine is turning!!! BTW: is there any compensation for Shark attack??? That would be totally legendary if 'ol Rats got himself nipped!!!

I agree with the three name option! You can be subtle when in "proper" company or when trying to be a different personna and use the Jonathan Mckay title... I personally was going to use Raven Riley, when I first started at the pub. (Years ago I even had a huge "Nevermore!" written on my vehicle, when I served with Uncle sam. Not surprisingly enough, a lot of grunts had no clue what that meant...) However it turns out there is an "entertainer" using that name and steered away and I went with Rats.... Jacob Reiley Jonathan Mckay, sound more professional! John Raven can easily be used as a working name... IE Boot strap Bill. Also John Raven has an almost native american sound, which I like!! rats

SO I was planning to attend a get together with some of my LEO partners and had even purchased a "large" bottle of the captain..... (the goal was to save folks money and also buys drinks for a lot of people, for the same price I would pay for a few rail drinks)...... However at the last minute I got ordered for an OT assignment Now being the kinda guy that I am... I even offered for them to take said bottle off of my hands and enjoy themselves with out me... Now when it comes to tentage in new areas, the 1st thing I have to ask is what was the weather like last year and how bad was the bugs and vermin??? If you've ever had critters nipping at your toes and / or seen one of you're buddies carried away by mosquitoes... You'd understand!!!!

Just a disclaimer!! Don't get the Archangle crew wrong now. Some of us are as much if not more scummy than the next pirate... After all, it would be great to have everyone sailing under the black flag. But as everyone knows, we can't all be on the same side or things would look lopsided!! So what ever it take to make a good show of it!! Besides, we can still be real nasty working for the crown...!!

I personally think we're kicking a dead horse... The $%#%^# bell was, can and most likely "will" be used for everything from signalling times to notifying the "entire crew" of emergencies.... With all the boomers and shouts of AAargh! and noise going on, I could care less... Ring away! The way I see it, if someone is looking for a quiet weekend getaway.... This isn't going to be it!

I'll throw in a vote for a new thread! Let's keep this one for basic planning for the camp and living arrangements.
