Thank you my dear Lilly! I can't wait to get everyone together for another venture!! Maybe we can get everyone for a ride on the Windy??? I'm also working on a few more benches and tables for folks to use and for displays. BTW: What is the average length for a good skittles table??? Should a backstop and or sides be considered for safety?? If I remember correctly, last year during the parade, we received a sudden request for firing BP weapons... Will that be put in the works this year?? This year if we have tornadoes... I'm sitting on my countertop with a bottle of rum in one hand and my cutlass in the other, and ridin' the tavern into the twister!!! Here's to you all!!

I don't know how this happened... But I seem to have off for PIP Saturday, Sunday and Monday!!! Now if I can get Thursday and Friday, I'm set!!!

I really can't wait!!! I've needed to fall in under the blackflag all winter!! Plus with my schedule taking a turn (for the worst??!!), I really need to enjoy what events I have this year!!! And Tyburn's Last Drop will be at Port fest!! I'll just have to dig another cellar!!!

Aye Captain! I just put a trade into the works.... and with the new recruits comming out of the academy, I'm hoping atleast some of them will come to 2nd shift!! D*^&%%mn lawenforcement job keeps getting in the way of my honest piracy

Though it would take an act of God.... What are the exact dates??? maybe I could just quit work???

Now that's why I built Tyburn's Last Drop (our tavern) the way I did... And with the threat of tornado-se-dos, huricain-knees and all kinds of other misfortunes... there be plenty of room in the cellar for everyone I simply can't wait!!!

Now I really need to pull a rabbit out of my hat to make this event!!

We actually did good on the Hist-erical Jeopardy....Thanks ofcoarse to the Christopher Walken catagory!!! I NEED MORE COWBELLS!!!!!! BTW: we set up the tavern and changed it a bit for RF... It will fit perfectly where we were... That includes the cellar!!!

Having fallen asleep in the cellar while "checking on the proper storage of kegs and bottles" Rats wakes up, and rolls over from all the commotion. "Said something you shouldn't have?" asks Rats. Without opening his eyes. "I think she broke my spleen..." groans young Mr. Davis. "Don't worry lad..." replies Rats, as he hands young Davis a bottle of....something. "I'm sure you can find another one....?"

Thanks again! It's not as nice as our original.. If folks are interested, it's about ten minutes long and cut to a real sharp soundtrack. I actually just wanted to get a bit of an example out there and it fell into place quick enough........yeah I'm good!!

Last year's display is now the stage and table we used at Pike River... The tavern with cellar can be used for everything including displays/ demos/ hiding gear and mundane possessions. There are still tables that can attach for additional display and stability and if needed there were two large tables already there (the big black ones) for Video and such if needed. This is the reason I built it in the demensions I used. Just so it wouldn't be "too big" if used for RF4. We can then bring in a top beam and stabalized uprights an have the canvas over part of the top and have "unlit" lanterns and such.... It should look good.. Of coarse!

Who Hector??? He made the movie worth watching!!! I almost liked seeing all the different characters more than all the Jacks... Maybe I'm just a bit fed up with all the repros at the events??? I loved the battle and the wedding vows....OK so it was a bit over the top, but C-mon.. It was good heroic stuff!!!! Now let's talk about Miss Knightly....... Then again I've always been a sucker for the girl next door...

A nice area indeed! If possible closer to the door.... Such as where the Romans or the Revwar fellows were, even better. However, the question then is... Do we want to bring in an overhead canvas and lanterns for the full effect??? Were we allowed candles??? We also need recruit sheets and such!! Perhaps an improvised servant auction and or payment of the crew?? Has anyone contacted the Marches, the Rydens or the Swansons about this venture?? Then there are our "plank walkers"???? Matty Bottles! Are you out there??? I will also be perfectly honest... It's worth going just to see Captain Pete "perform" to Paradise by the Dashboard Lights!!! I won't even get started with the Time Warp!! JMHO! Rats

I have off that weekend and would be glad to go. Now if a set is needed, I would be glad to assist. However, as some of you know, my shoulder was dislocated and I doubt will be up for such extreme lifting.... Though I wouldn't mind bringing... Well you know what we have!!!! The question is where should we set up and how much room can we steal??? Rats

I'll second that vote for Cars!!! My kids love that movie as much as I do. Everytime my boys see an old car, they call it Doc Huzz'n!! Katchow!! As far as AWE goes.... I love the fact they went to the Orient and I also loved the final battle... Sure it was out of control... But it was fun!! Now.... Without pointing a finger... I really REALLY hated the whole desert and the multiple Jacks.... Hold your fire! And let me explain.... OUCH! I SAID HOLD YER FIRE!!! Jack is a very over bearing character... Let's face it! But a crew of them is way too many. Also in the first two movies he made very good entrances.... To start with the tip of his nose was a mistake. The entire desert scene and the crabs were unneeded... 1.) crew scrambles onto the beach... 2.) I don't see Jack... Blah blah.. 3.) WIcked jack is closer than??? (As the crabs are scurrying) 4.) Dom Dom DOM!! Down he rides on the pearl, without wasting ten minutes on an acid trip.... Besides, they touch on the fact he dosen't believe he's in the Locker or they're there.... I just think there should have been something else more hideous.... The locker was supposed to be a horrible place.... Such as an endless sea of rum bottles, only each of them are empty??? or being repeatedly slapped by all the women he has ever slighted... Who knows JMHO! OK fire away Oh and I think it was a waste of a character to have killed off and hardly used Norrington. He was a main character in two movies only to have him get killed by a Will's father??? C-mon now.... They even figured out how to use the two goofball guards!!! Again JMHO

This is.... well it's basically me! But the jacket is supposed to be more red, and this is weathered?? I don't remember where I got the pic from...But I think even if folks were to concentrate on a set of buff or white colored belt, sling and box... Or just agree on the Black... Then make sure they have long coats, no slops and a long arm, they will at least look like ill-equiped civilian militia...??? Now I know they are a bit expensive... however William Booth Draper http://www.wmboothdraper.com/index.html has multiple options for excellent red wool and which ever cuff option we want. even if we were to start with a simple justcorps with an option for changeable cuffs when it is decided????

As part of the Archangel Crew's never ending wish-list we had hopes of procuring some simple red coats for just such a reason... Be it the need for more redcoats to fight or simply for the "wolf in sheep's clothing" angle in a scenario.... Need more Reds!!!
