In the cramped quarters aboard ship I think very few women could maintain a disguise for long as a male. The few known female pirates were definately the exception rather than the rule albeit in Hollywood you'd think they were a dime a dozen and all of them somehow Captains. Yeah! and I'm the King of France!!!

A member of the host crew found a knife on the top of the trash, we told him it wasn't ours but I said if he didn't find the owner I could use a knife, he gave me the knife.

I traded drawings for needed items. Poles for the "Hide". Sword belt & cartridge box. Looking to do more.

Was given pewter goblets & tankards (not PC but usable after hours) for "The Hide" by sever friends.

I could be wrong but I believe that the black blanks were at more readily available to reenactor for some time. I still see more black blanks than other colors but as to that being historically accurate I wouldn't know. My two cents should makes things as clear as mud for you.

I have a beautiful Deep Forest green velvet ...yards & yards of it ...I can't ever see Fionn dressing like this and me...well, I am just too hot ...I mean too warm for anything more than linen.

I do not speak from experience, rumor has it that the goode Captain Sterling has been "at it" since he was able to be "at it" and his sons are many. As a close confidant to the captain I an say no more.

No garage, no marina, no boat, no cannon. I have taken to leaving my gear in my car. Makes packing & repacking much easier.
