  1. ...But... but Rose... If I were to stop associating with such rabble, ye would be out of business...ye do operate a proper house not a church after all...
  2. Many happy returns of the day Master Gunner.
  3. Tis yer idea that she marry well Rose, not mine. Gladly would I spend more time with her than with the liars and backbiters I have come to uncover these past few months in port...
  4. William Booth, Draper http://www.wmboothdraper.com/ Burnley and Trowbridge Co. http://www.burnleyandtrowbridge.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=8 Hamilton Dry Goods... careful, sometime their wool page is screwed up so you might have to give them a call http://www.periodfabric.com/ B. Black & Sons http://www.bblackandsons.com/
  5. The Carolina Black Flaggers made mention to me this past event, that they will be seeing us down at PiP this year..so ye may want to add them to the list and the head count. Maddogge may know their actual number... I think there may be at least seven of them...
  6. Gee I see Sarah has that famous Sterling smile.... ack I don't know what you did Sterling, but Sarah looks really pissed at you!!! Animal migraine I didn't want to go to the ball
  7. Congratulations Master Gunner... oh and... Maddogge's stuff....
  8. A very happy belated birthday to ye!... Sorry was away and could not wish ye a great day sooner..
  9. Do I want to ask what the hell is Pern doing??
  10. Gee I see Sarah has that famous Sterling smile.... ack
  11. Well twas truly an amazing thing...Silkie came round the fly and announced to all of us that you had passed out in the grass... I did not believe it myself and actually had to get up off my lazy arse and run round to see for myself... and there ye were...damnation, it was a first...
  12. We are trying our damnedest to change "Fire in the Hole!" to "Have a Care!" Takes time, but hopefully it will change...
  13. Hmmm most interesting bit of this past weekend is a toss up between Maddogge ACTUALLY missing a ghost hunt because he was out cold on the ground in FRONT of his tent, and myself sitting in the jail in shackles when a young girl of seven or so, walked into the cell and announced..."Oh Dad look! This room has a dummy sitting in the corner...." ouch
  14. is that our own 'Nick' on the left, walking away from the camera?! way t'make us proud, maddogge! Well spotted!! Tis indeed our Nick and Finn be on the Dogge's other side. They had just finished firing and were retiring to the rear to reload. The tall chap in the black cocked hat dead center is Maddogge's newest recruit...Gnat... As usual the crewe did an excellent job both here in Beaufort and at Pike. My hat is off to ye all.
  15. Hats off and three cheers once again to Captain Sinbad and Lt. Brown for a wonderful event. As always the Meka II is a beautiful sight to see in action, especially when one is right alongside in one's private gig. Our thanks to the rowing club that damn near kept up with the tall ships, to the town folk that make us feel so welcomed, to all the staff that take such good care of us, and to the historic areas that allow us to play in their backyards. The second year was even better than the first with the added actions running down Front St. on the way to the green for the Militia, and the use of the jail prior to the trial and hanging. Just wish I could have seen Dutch being shot out of the Meka's rigging, do hope someone got pictures. A special thanks to Pern, Grace and Jack Tar for yer... ahem... company... in the jail. Always nice to know there are others with you during a rough situation. **cough, cough** Thanks to Hatchet Meg for her expert "heckling" and to Willoughby for service to a dying captain prior to his last jig. It was great to see the Devilmen, the Shadow Players and the Black Flaggers. It is always a pleasure and an honor playing with you lot. As always, great scenarios, fantastic fighting and the very best of company especially back in the camps Saturday evening, made even more memorable with Rusty Cutlass and his mates playing just for the family. For all the fun during the day, nothing beats the camaraderie of after hours with them we hold dear. Until we cross blades again in Pennsylvania next month, fair winds to ye all.
  16. Hmmm lets see, Capt. Pern fell asleep and out of his chair the first time around 2am. So that would make the ghost walk through the cemetery that you were running for yer shoes some where about 1:30 am... So betwixt those two times you landed on yer face in the dirt...oh and you didn't finish off the second bottle, them what were left still sitting upright at the table did...around 3am.
  17. I mean, this was so much better than Just killing pirates...
  18. Right then, the "Wedding" Battle with the French was way too much fun...
  19. Instead of pissin and moanin about it, why not try to help others get it right? practice makes perfect...
  20. And a special thank ye to the Lt. and the rest of the G L River Pirates for the battles.
  21. Thank ye Will for the link..good to see ye and yer fine lady once again.
  22. As always, well done Angels... going to bed now....again.....
