  1. He shifted cautiously, just enough to look up at her. Sterling had lost track of how long she had been reading, he had even lost track of what and he wondered how long he had been asleep. As she sat in careful comfort next to him, he could not help but run his finger along her arm from elbow to wrist. "I am sorry Chere, I have fallen asleep on ye again. I seem to be the poorest company. What says the clock?" he asked, not wishing to even think of having to turn to view what the window could tell him.
  2. Sterling glances down the bar at Aurore. He can tell something is wrong. "Quel est mauvais ma chere dame ?"
  3. Sterling looks at Lilly as she sits there fuming, arms crossed, foot tapping angrily against the floor. He looks at Ransom, trying to cover her laugther by hiding behind her tankard. He looks at Aurore, who has gone over to Captain Striker and is currently pouting. He looks at the Empress who can only roll her eyes, sigh and return to her clients...ahem.. company. He makes his way over to Killingsworth and leans on the bar top next to him. "Oi, next time ye shoot me, make sure ye get it right!"
  4. Ah The Empress.... now she's a kiss and tell ye off!
  5. Charles Dickens' book (about the travelling Lady of the Evening) suddenly comes to mind... "The Sale of Two Titties."
  6. Good heavens, woman! I can see your Terrance and Sabastain! yup Lill, everyone can read ye like a book... from tit to stern... I'm mean... tip...tip...
  7. Good point Cap'n Pete... besides the event is indoors and folks can bring their bathing suits for the new indoor water park! Sounds hot to me! So what is period correct bathing attire for GAoP??
  8. Lilly can only give the Captain a very wicked smile. "What every you fancy, Dear One." Boy I can read you like a book!
  9. Gives Sterling a grin. "You're right, of course. Why tax the brain when you can be drinking instead? Tis nice to be able to relax, and not be watching your back all the time. Cheers." "Relax? Bloody hell, I haven't been able to get out of bed for more than a paragraph or two!! "
  10. How the hell did we all end up over here anyway??!
  11. "A wonderful life I had as a child, Lill. Twasn't until I was a lad that my father took me home to live as his proper son. So you needn't be worrying yer pretty little head none on my account. My word woman, ye'll pop me stitches and I'll be back under Cutter's knife, let up a bit!" He glances over at Ransom... "Stop scratchin yer head and join us fer a drink Lass or are ye needing a nit comb?"
  12. Pictures! Links! Are you sure Townsend carries em? cushioned stockings, boy do I need a pair... high heeled buckled shoes just ain't comfortable!
  13. Wow talking like Killingsworth.... sss silly wabbit
  14. And when I'm proven correct, what is it that you will eat? Oops not the right question to be asking you!!
  15. Sterling rolls his eyes, then startles, jumping forward a bit as Lilly gets friendly. "Lady there are others about! And as for Killingsworth, I'll eat my hat if he shows on Sunday."
  16. Sterling looks at the actress. "Is it my place to tell thee everything Lady? My father's affairs are just that.... his." He takes another drink of his port, offering more to Aurore and Lilly. "I would be highly surprised if I be his only bastard."
  17. Sterling looks at the fop then to his own left arm, still in a sling. "Mayhaps now thee knows what tis like to walk in another man's shoes, eh Killingsworth? But fair warning I see thee are getting... unlike myself. My thanks to ye Captain Striker. Old Reg is not someone ye want sneaking around yer back...ever. "
