  1. Great shots everyone, keep up the good work.
  2. By all means Dutch, they loved helping with the parceling last weekend and Josh was mighty proud that the end results went to actually be used on the Explorer.
  3. Oh please tell me all you sailors won the tug of war!!
  4. Great shots, although...Silas looks likes he's having way too much fun~
  5. Finn will be presenting maritime/pyracy related demos as is required by the fort staff. Nick will only be seen during the battles and possibly Crime and Punishment. I shall be happy to add you as an after hours special presentation.
  6. Baby steps? Baby steps would be a sentence, that was a good article...nicely done, although a little tame in my opinion.
  7. Hey one of my snotties is Phlegm and the other is fondly known as Loogie
  8. If you would like to be part of the musical entertainment at the fort, please pm Fayma directly. Fayma Callahan a.k.a. Momma Ratsey Email: faymacallahan@aol.com
  9. The idea behind this thread was to get a rough idea of who wanted to do what as far as the required living history demonstrations go. As these demonstrations will be on going through out the entire weekend except for breaks and the battles, there is plenty for everyone to take part in. For example, no one crew need only handle one specific demo such as only the Mercury crew doing weapons. Various members from any of the crews can take turns doing each demo or come up with something that so far hasn't even been listed which pertains to pyracy and maritime life. If, for example, someone from the Mercury wishes to do weapons and someone from the buccaneer camp wishes to do weapons, they can take turns and give each other breaks, or they can work together and only do weapons at certain hours which we could easily put on the schedule. There are no rules set in stone right now. There is no schedule as of yet, we were just looking to see who would be interested in doing what so we can come up with a schedule. As most of the crewe leaders for the GAoP and the buccaneer crews and even one of the 1800s crews is already on the pub, they know where to look. Any crews that aren't on the pub and are attending, Fayma will take care of.
  10. Now here's a scary thought, only Rose and I understand Robbie.
  11. We can try for the space Dutch, but at this point it cannot be guaranteed.
  12. I would like to see him this weekend....just a thought
  13. I love ye robbie...and damned proud to have ye as my cousin.
  14. Right then, so who are some of the crewe leaders that are not on the pub that attend the Fort portion of the event?
  15. Let us hope that Mister Killingsworth never shows up except for after hours...
  16. Like this shot...good one
  17. Wait...wait. I should rephrase. We advertise for the fort, as we want to help the park as long as we may. We just don't tell any other groups about camping.
  18. Mickey truly has a very valid point though.. IF we are limited to only 100 PERSONS in the fort, how do we break that down when say 90 GAoP/buccaneers want to attend and 100 19th century folk want to attend???
  19. As Living History is a key factor for this year's Fort Taylor event and each crew is required to provide demos during the public hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I thought it would be helpful to begin a thread for listing which crew will be doing what demos. Once we see what crews are willing to do, perhaps we can lump some of them together... for instance instead of having multiple weapons demos for each time frame, perhaps we can pool the buccaneers together with GAoP and 1800s so we can also show the evolution of the weaponry.
