  1. Honestly that would be one confusing but very funny scenario...
  2. Ahoy Dutchman! The Crewe of the Archangel is looking to attend the Blackbeard festival in full force... will need more than our share of land for camping... please keep us posted as to all the necessary details. And who might we be needing to contact in regards to a proper hanging?
  3. From a fellow Virginian, welcome to the pub Sir. You may wish to keep an eye open regarding the Blackbeard event for 2008. If you attend please stop by and give a shout to the Archangel crewe.
  4. Let's see if I can recall this one correctly... "The captain has moved beyond words. He now just stands there and gestures, grunting in pain."
  5. It will be up and "running" next year... at least after hours for the reenactors. Be prepared to bid for the poor wretch's personal goods afterwards...
  6. Actually our red coats will be based on marine uniforms of the times, which I think there is a fine article posted over at the PB site. As Maddogge has landed himself some new recruits, dressed in red, they can play either side of the fence, whether pyrate hunter or soldier. As soon as I nail the look of the coat down I promise to let you know what we are putting together...
  7. "John, how could you? Especially after our last night together in Barcelona!" Quoting F.B.II
  8. Damnation! Running out of time already!!! So much to do....
  9. Not far fetched at all.... I like the idea of shooting prisoners...as one still gets the bounty in the end, dead or alive....
  10. Looks like our Williamsburg... I wish you the best of success with the new darlin!
  11. I sleep lightly with a pistol in one hand and the tankard in the other. Good luck, mate. And the reason the Mercury camp slept in is that we spent all night guarding you lot from evil spirits such as rum, brandy and ale. Some thanks we get. Ah! Is that why I didn't get ONE drink until Sunday night!!!!
  12. Ah now chickens would be a plus as well.... and I have photographs of a chicken coop/cage from Jamestown.... **heh, heh, heh**
  13. Glad to hear that you and yours have returned safely to home port!!! And glad that you came by camp Monday for a bit...I can not thank you enough for all your hard work regarding the pardons...believe me they will be used in the future as for some reason that scenario seemed to keep getting pushed to the back burner. I do wish to discuss the production of a waggoner with you Lady. As to next year's scenario/background story, it will be posted very shortly so folks have all year to prepare... and once again your talents and everyone's talents will be put to good use. Burns will be very important for Mission's work and the opening scenario... As soon as the plot is posted, all the folks, such as Lily and Fayma, that dabble in special effects make up and props, if they would let me know their private emails and don't mind sharing with the others that wish to produce the effects, we can get cracking on the necessary projects... I must say, I have been playing at reenacting for 35 plus years now and I have been involved in numerous time frames and groups, but I must say the pirates are the most talented group of people I have ever come across. And not only are they talented but they are some of the most outgoing, inclusive, ready to share whatever they have to allow others to take the field, in short one of the best group of people I have ever had the honour to meet and work with... I raise my glass to ye all, especially the brotherhood at PiP... ye are the cream of the crop folks... never forget that!
  14. Hmmmm I like this tankard... remind me who to frisk next year while the Mercury camp is sleeping in...
  15. Thanks for chiming in and letting us know... okay, letting me know.... so I worry.... Oi how are yer feet holding out? Would love to know since I am truly very interested in the shoes you had on....
  16. I thought I had cleared all of those from under my bed, but apparently these damn bits of coral can walk. So, yes, my feet hurt from walking on them but I had to explain that bruise on my butt to my wife when I got home. So: My Buuuuuutttttt! (Really dear, I rolled over on some coral. See? Look at this picture; coral, lots of coral. Honest. Just ask the other Pyrates.) Ah.... didn't hear the story behind the "My Buuuuuuuuttttt"... pray do tell....
  17. My Word but she is the bravest one in the crewe!!
  18. Gee and I assumed that you didn't eat meat for health reasons... boy did you just blow that idea right out of the water!
  19. We keep a horse on one of the ships? No. The horse would be provided by one of the locals on the island.... we keep a goat on the ship and a few sheep for the Scots. OMG LMAO!!! Run, little sheep, RUN! NOTE: I am not Scottish... so far it looks as if I am the ONLY Englishman in ANY of the crewes....
  20. You guys are killin' me! Horses! I have three and a mule up here in Missouri! We have been considering doing the cart thing for the civil war stuff around here too. Dang! Three more PiP's before I can get out there! Bo Three more?!? Oh Bo, you HAVE GOT TO GO next year... and if you are serious about the horse and cart, I need to talk to you, we will have bodies and wounded to be moved starting in the very first scenario!!!
  21. Ah...ye know I be right... ah what was that little comment? Gee my crew isn't lifting a finger to come rescue me... Patrick didn't even wave?
