  1. For those of you that can make Blackbeard's Festival, May30-June 1, 2008... I would recommend that... Now if you want a place just to camp and meet, work out the scenarios for next PiP, work on the special fxs, work on yer kit, learn some sword figthing, etc... I do have over two acres of land, not to mention a hundred acres surrounding of pretty much untouched land where we could sneak off for photographs..including a river, also there would be Michie Tavern for dinner one night and Monticello for some sight seeing or if you like a day trip to WIlliamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown.... I would offer up my place to ye lot... oh there is a pool also to cool off in....
  2. Oi throw him back where he came from!! Welcome to the pub Mr. O'Keeffe! Twas an honour meeting ye down at Pip... ye be welcome any time by the crewe of the Archangel.
  3. I hear my sister will be joining us... ack... I will have to behave...
  4. Aye but those teeth marks are all his? Hmmm...hungry?
  5. Actually this wasn't part of the event, next year it will be.... we just did this on Monday for something to do... aye we're all nuts.
  6. Wow William! A lot of work there, I know there were a lot of sailboats on the water that day, not to mention modern bodies on the beach. Thank you for all your hard work putting those together.
  7. Sterling in Jamestown getting ready to .... send Bess back to England... okay so tis an old ship....cheaper that way....
  8. The event would be greatly diminished in my estimation if you were not in attendance. And yes, I did get your PM. I'll be posting stuff about the Mercury by day's end. Oh Mission will be showing up at a lot more events... he has no choice, he lives FAR TOO close to Maddogge...
  9. No, no, no... now in order to do that correctly, you must pull the hair out of your mouth with great difficulty after it blows there and mutter "Damnation! Bloody wig!! I am sure I would have done that, but since my shackles were attached to Anne's shackles and she was already pulling me far to her side, the pulling the hair out of the mouth just wasn't working. I'll do better next time.... No excuses... and remember... practice makes perfect... I have "eaten" a lot of wig...
  10. Aye should have seen his eyes light up... great huge saucers, when I pulled out the gold to entice him away... would do anything for a few coins.... hey kind of sounds like the rest of the Mercury crewe!!
  11. Aye but not come to yer rescue....
  12. Fool me once... it won't happen again..I will be keeping the good eye on Patrick from now on(besides I'll just sew him in his hammock when he's sleeping...easy enough that)... the rest of ye are easy to watch out for... I learn from my mistakes...um...right...Cheeky??
  13. The week would be nice... time to get settled in, the camp prepared and then a nap before we officially start.
  14. Whew... just as well in my case.. couldn't see the plank well enough to get any sort of balance... and what with Hurricane yelling at me to stop dancing, tis a miracle I made it to the end before falling in.... I wish I could have been dignified and jumped...
  15. Like he'd ever get me in his clutches...
  16. Aye but ye told me about Mr. Merriweather making the jump
  17. No, no, no... now in order to do that correctly, you must pull the hair out of your mouth with great difficulty after it blows there and mutter "Damnation! Bloody wig!!
  18. Y'know Stynky - I remember seeing you around several times, but I don't think we must have actually met. Don't I feel like a rude bast'd? Actually, there were so many new piratey faces swarming around, and I only met a tiny fraction of them (and others I did meet while drunk on Friday night - then I met them anew on Saturday morning, having forgotten meeting them the night before. And they just sort of smiled at me and asked how I was feeling.) Other items - Sterling - my feet did AWSOME! I'll be writing up a full review of my Jarnagin shoes shortly. They weren't perfect out of the box - required some insoles and doubled up socks, but that done, not one blister or sore heel all weekend. And I did a *lot* of walking. Thanks Bilgemunky for the feedback on the shoes... I will be investing in a pair!
  19. Oh not to worry, now that we know you a bit better, we shall come and drag ye both out!! We do have the chains and the whips to go with em... strange crew aren't we??
  20. Our pleasure... we treat our guests right... snigger... until we have to hang em...
