  1. I highly doubt they started all that... I know at least three in my own crewe who have been doing filthy for over twenty years.... and frankly I am very surprised Rachel would be so careless in the way she handles her magazine and its articles...
  2. That would be Blackfoot and as I recall he wasn't soundly thrashed... he truly held his own and did so wonderfully well....
  3. Thank ye, charming indeed. Grand allure of a rock and roll persona... all depends on which side of the fence ye find yerself ... unless ye perfer to straddle it. Been to Canada lately to visit the old folks? So in yer "business ventures" Robin Hood, which voices do you listen to?
  4. hmmm our coats have both sword cuts and ball holes... easily enough to do... as to a cravat, the term cravat implies a particular type of neckwear during the period, as in a steinkirk or my good linen cravat with lace ends... certainly not the average neck cloth we see pictured on most sailors in art from the time frame. I could be wrong, but I have yet to see the term so loosely applied to just any type of neck wear ... and aye a ton of people wore them, certainly not an item of clothing that would make a common sailor stand out in a crowd in those days. And would love to see the source for cutting off all ones buttons... maybe they were misquoted...as I believe they have buttons on their clothing..
  5. **Sigh** my sketching is getting so bloody rusty but then I suppose tis better that than naked crewmembers...especially my crewmembers..
  6. No need Lady B, if he is who he makes claim to being, he should already know them... but then God is on my side... so much for the lesser gods of this world who talk to themselves in their own heads....
  7. So did my father a while back during our Rev. War days, although not well...my actual small sword (GAoP time frame) once belonged to him, he dated and appraised it as well. I picked up in a trade via C. Schriber a leather/trunk maker back in the eighties...
  8. Oi Mission any copy of the religious pamplets Rogers was going to distribute to the pirates?
  9. Ah so ye are a god unto yerself then? And then actually have no scriptual basis to stand on to support what ye claim that ye do.
  10. Is the list closed? please someone tell me I have way too much work to do...
  11. The problem being that I wouldn't be happy with a photocopy... I would want the real thing for my personal collection...wonder if they noticed it had gone missing.... Off to the Blue Whale.... see if they can track down a copy....
  12. Hmmm will need to get a copy of what you have...not that I don't appreciate some of the author's little interjections, but I want to read more of what Rogers himself actually wrote... ah to get a hand on an original first edition.... I'll take a bit of Woodall...after Chaucer in old English and Rabelais in old French, how hard can it be? (watch I'm in trouble now...snigger)
  13. Mohamed, odd again, how you quote Jesus Christ, and not the Koran...especially since you truly have your interpretation completely arse backwards. And perchance you should be saying الله أكبر Like any real pirate would advertise here?
  14. You make such a claim and yet you question whether such a thing as pirate hunters existed? I think before you continue with such professions as to being an "honest" businessman that you go back and read your history books a bit more. As to John Wayne, he was an actor, what would he know? or anyone that bases real life practices on his past performances? Besides what would be wrong in firing upon an honest businessman such as yerself... my apologies, I mean pirate? I find that to be good sport, rather odd how you have issues with such.
  15. Ugh nothing I ate today is worth mentioning, still fighting to keep it all down. my boss, who wants me back for next summer...good. What more could you ask for than good pay and time off for events? Lilly Mistress Sterling
  16. Hmmm perhaps the chance to play a real pyrate hunter?
  17. Good to know... Um read the post over at the webpage regarding the Luna, are you really outfitting her for early 1800s or is that a misprint?
  18. now if you could only learn how to focus the camera...
