  1. My high school graduation present was to be a trip with my father to New York to see it on Broadway. Alas, we couldn't afford it and I never went. Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman sang in the Phoenix area recently at an opening of an arts center, I think in Mesa. Again, couldn't go due to work. That would've been great. And it's been a long time since I've been a singer, luv. 'Twould be horrible, now.
  2. Did it reveal things about yourself you didn't know before, or maybe they just clicked and you realized "Yeah, I do do that!" That's what happened when I took it. When you get a chance, Google yer letters and see if that still fits you.
  3. I always wanted to see the "Phantom". I sang part of it when I was in high school choir (No, I'm not a eunich).
  4. Fer Diego ~ 'tis already posted on the calendar, mate! It is a young Faire, this is the third year. Unfortunately, it is scheduled during the same weekend as the Queen Bess Pirate Days in Cali. www.mayinthemeadows.com
  5. I haven't had a chance to put my results to any kind of practical application, yet. As an ISTJ, I'm often thought of as being psycho as I'm not very talkative and extremely introverted among other things. There's something about being here, though, that allows me to have a bit of an imagination and behave like I normally would not.
  6. Then yer one o' the lucky ones.
  7. I've been going through a spell in my life the past couple years of trying to define the who, how and why's of my personality. It's been an odd and sometimes difficult journey, sometimes, to say the least. Anyway, I ran across this website and took the online "Temperament Sorter" test. It's supposed to be scientific somehow. The results amazed me. I am almost word for word, what this site defines me as. For those of you feeling a bit adventurous and maybe even wanting to find out things about yerself you may have never thought of, check it out. I am happy to now have a reason as to the "why". Keirsey Temperament Sorter P.S. If you post your results here, others at the Pub can Google yer identifying letters and learn more about you. I'll start: Google the letters "ISTJ" without the quotation marks and you will find out more about my personality than I could probably ever tell you. Maybe someone else is at this point in their life and this may help.
  8. "Now I don't care who you are, that was funny right there!"
  9. Aye! Uniform regulations then and now prohibit much beyond a moustache. 'Twould be strange to see a pyrate with a high and tight flattop with a regulation moustache...
  10. I don't know. Fantasy battle scenes with swords seem pretty generic to me. I'm not a fight choreographer, but I don't know what they can do with a sword battle that is new...
  11. Yes, it was good. Had my daughter jumpin' almost out of her seat a couple times, but she really liked it.
  12. BLAST, I MISSED IT! Saw Narnia this weekend, but no trailers for POTC2. Trailers were already rolling when we got in the theater....sum bitch~
  13. Cannot wait fer the pictures lass. Ye can be sendin' all the private "after party" photos to me via PM, of course!
  14. We're 'avin' a RenFaire here in town the same time the Queen Bess Pyrate Days arrrrr goin' on. It's run by the Devonshire group.
  15. I tried it last night. Wasn't too bad. Just didn't get the grenadine t' stay in one spot. As soon as it was dropped into the drink, it disappated. It's a cool effect as long as yer the one makin' the drink.
  16. Northern Arizona is at 23 degrees this mornin'. All this cold and no sign of snow anytime soon....
  17. I saw somewhere (I think it was Fox News Channel) that this guy had to shut it down because of an accident near his house. The homeowner is an electical engineer who spent around $10,000 on the lights. He had told his neighbors and the sheriff ahead of time that if the lights caused problems for the neighborhood, he would quit the display. He has a small transmitter that beams the music to radios in the vicinity so the onlookers can enjoy the music and light combination. P.S. That sight is the first time in a loooooooong time I've heard/seen the word "rad".
  18. I've got tails now, I'll take some...I mean I'll take heads! BTW, Asukaru... I wouldn't mind ye and Scarlett dancin' to the fine Irish tune, "Whiskey in the Jar". As you'll find in other threads, my favorite band is Metallica who just so happens to have a lively rendition o' this here tune. TURN IT UP!
