Thank you Matt. It just arrived yesterday . . .talk about timing.

What do you mean? Grab one for you and bring it to PIP or just send you one? If you want to order one to be mailed then just do it at PiratesMagazine.com. Sarah does all the shipping and she is no slacker! If you want one for PIP then fret not. There will be plenty. I have a subscription, but have not received that issue.
-
Can someone grab one for me? I'll gladly pay shipping. . . .

I have received one issue. No CD, No Pyrate Trading Cards . . . . No subscription renewal . . .

My wife and I are (finally) planning our honeymoon/ anniversary. We believe we have the area narrowed down we would like to visit (Yucatan Peninsula), but are semi-unclear of what to do next. It seems that 'all-inclusive' resorts have the best bang for the buck, but when we read the reviews on various websites (tripadvisor.com) these 'pristine beachfront resorts' become modern day hell on earth, as judging by some of the reviews. 5 star hotels are described as Hollywood Blvd pay-by-the-hour motels. A search, then, into accommodations and then paying for our own meals, etc, place the cost of the trip nearly out of reach. So our questions: What do you look for in an 'all-inclusive' resort? How do you get the most for your money at non-inclusive hotels? Have you taken a trip as such? What do you recommend for new travels? Thanks!

2 questions: 1) Are they available for 'non' members of the Mercury? 2) Will the design on the hoodies be lower on the back so that it can be seen with the hood down? Thanks William.

"Cap'n, Dorian, sah, beggin' y' pardon, but there are surely more men tha' need tendin' to than m'self. A scratch 'tis all," Preston touched his arm lightly. "A meal though. Hmmmm, a meal sounds nice Cap'n. Mayhaps the surgeon can attend to us 'n th' Ward Room?" Dorian squinted and could not grasp Preston's sudden change of demeanor. He wasn't sure to be angry or worried. "Haven't y' said 'much t' do' Preston? What are you on about?" The captain of the Lucy became worried that perhaps Preston's sickness had returned and completed taken over his faculties. "To th' Ward room then Cap'n?" Preston smiled innocently.

While not 'treasure maps' per se, I would find if they were created they would be found on a material that would be available on ships at the tie. Here's a link to producing sea charts which would be quite similar aesthetically to what you are trying to accomplish. http://pyracy.com/index.php?showtopic=15641&view=&hl=treasure%20maps&fromsearch=1

Welcome! Sounds like you have an excellent gameplan. I'd love to hear your backstory for the basis of your character. If you'd like to try your hand at a bit of fictional writing where you create some of your char's eccentricities as well as embellish them, we have several current stories in the 'Skull and Quill Society' forum open to new writers.

"I dinnot know wot yer up to Dorian," Preston smirked, "but we've got much t' do." The ship's master laughed and leaned in close to the captain grabbing him by the neck and kissing him hard on the cheek. With a simple slap to Dorian Lasseter's shoulder, Preston led himself out of the room. Jameson and Stadtmeyer looked at each other wholly confused. "Gentlemen," he nodded to the two standing near, "much t' do, no mucking about now." Master Whitingford waved a pointed finger at the two. Dorian was as confused as the two. He called from the cabin down the narrow passageway, "Mayhaps, ye should 'ave yer arm looked at Preston." "An' yer head," whispered Robert. A glare from Dorian received a nearly imperceptible nod from the marine. "Right as rain, Cap'n, right as rain," Preston quipped. "Shall I have Mister Goddon assemble th' officers 'n the Ward Room sah?"
-
Aboard the Lucy, confined to quarters Preston finally awoke upon hearing Dorian's voice outside the cabin. He stirred within the hammock and found he was still duly bound. He moved about as best he could but the canvas wrapped around him burned across the wound on his forearm causing him to wince uncomfortably. "GODDAMNIT", Preston swore aloud. "Dorian? Who's there?" called the ship's master. Johan Stadtmeyer and Robert Jameson stood outside the door and looked at each other uncomfortably. "Who's t' tell 'im no arms?," whispered Robert. "Not I," said Johan sheepishly.
