Hawkyns, Some time ago you talked about cutting down and massaging a pair of commercial boots and sewing on taller leg leather. Did you ever get around to doing that?

Cliché? Yes. But that’s still a great reference description for either sex. I really like the machete and pistol in hand bit. Very cool, so romantic.

I've played that, the PS2 version. It's a sort of a cartoonish arcade style game, run around, kill and collect stuff, hack and slash. The separate 2 player mode ship battle game is great fun.

My suggestion for length is to get some string and wrap it around your waist a couple times. Then allow for some extra material, so that both ends of the string can hang off your hip to a comfortable height. Then untie – unwrap yourself and use the string as your measuring stick. For my guy, it’s something just 3.75 yards.

Hey, did anyone see or get shots of our own Black John? I ran into him a few times, he was walking around (clockwise, he told me), he had a great kit. He was going for the Gentleman Pirate look with the wig, cane, the whole bit, he looked great. I also chatted with John from Merrick’s Privateers, they were set up over on the forest side. Did anyone get shots of them? I can't believe that I forgot ta bring me camera, what a dope I am.
