  1. I don't know Harry, I think I'd have ta agree with the Commodore on this one. . . I mean that last Pirates oov the Caribbean movie where they hang the town folk, some of them bein' children were bloody awful - horrific and really should 'ave been rated arrr. Sorry for the bad pun, I joost couldn’t resist. . . and I’m just kidding of course.
  2. Master Edward Keith wondering the Fort. . . searching for his lil spitfire no doubt. Haunting Lily nurturing young Jim Hawkins into rebellious action. Edward Keith & Haunting Lily aboard the Wolf.
  3. Me Dear Dear Lily, The pleasure be all mine Lass and you always be welcome ta play and fire off me pistol - anytime.
  4. Actually I did make and animate them. However I didn't make the non-pirate themed ones, the big skull and cross bones or the smaller pirate emoticons. They use to all live on my web server and I encouraged people to cut 'n paste the IMG code - web address if they wanted to use them. Sometime later, Angus - the previous board owner downloaded them from my site and installed them here at the Pub. If you're dorky enough to have a hex editor, you should be able to read my name, email address and maybe an old dead phone number embedded in the image header. There use to be a question mark too, but I don't know where that has run off to. Thanks for the props - critical or otherwise Mission!
  5. I can think of a few others not posted that would be my favorites. . .
  6. Stoodley in his natural environment, do I really need to say anything else. . .
  7. Not fer long mate after hanging out with the likes of you and Stoodley.
  8. Hey no worries shipmate! I remember seeing you a few times as well, but either you were on your way somewhere or I was. Plus not spending much time here on the Pub, I didn't really expect to meet very many from it. Everyone seemed to be running around and I hardly stepped foot inside the fort. I got shanghaied by Cascabel, put out to sea on the Wolf and forced ta fire upon passing ships and on the fort with cannon and me pistol. - Truly horrible I know, hehehe. I must have gone through about a can and a half of powder and several flints for my pistol alone. Special thanks goes out to Master Stoodley, ok Studley for the extra flint and Braze for the extra powder and lend of a priming flask. On the second day I wandered around the fort a bit and took part in the ground assault on the fort from outside. - Pirates lost and the wolf showed up late that day. Then during the few evenings we had it was pretty crazy, trying to chat with people, make out and recognize faces in the dark - new and old. . . we really could have used a bit more after hours light. But I was shocked as hell after Lilly, Edward, Mission, Silkie and Stoodley encouraged me to be in the Pyracy Pub picture and I saw that so many people at the event were from Pyracy Pub. That was f***ing amazing! In fact I didn't even get around to meeting Harry until the evening of the last day at the end of the event when I tracked him down to finally pick-up the cutlass that I had sent UPS. . . I never did turn in my signed registration form. - doh! I just wish that I had taken the opportunity to meet and greet most of you online here at the Pub before the event. Those of you I met for the first time and those of you I met again as old friends, it was a pleasure and I look forward to doing it again - hopefully sooner than later. It was truly an incredible event and I thoroughly enjoyed meself.
  9. I know a lot of you will likely be going ta both week-ends, November 3rd - 4th & November 10th - 11th, but there seems to be a number of MySpace people planning to amass on the last week-end of the event. Me question to everyone here is, Q: How many are planning to go now and when? - Stynk
  10. Aye-aye Captain, And how be the Pirates of Treasure Cove shipmates that be living due south of us fairing with the fire store?
  11. It has been a number of years since I've been, I guess I'll go. . . I already got me flight and hotel lodging booked!
  12. Rumba Rue competes with Iron Bess in Silly Face Contest.
  13. Well bang'n the drum is better than tooting your own horn. . .or wait, is that the same thing? (Did I just think that with my outside brain?) Um, *cough* you guys are naughty.
  14. Alright just ta get a show of 'ands, who 'ill be there Saturday and who be there Sunday?
  15. ROTDLMAO!!!!!Oh yeah, I NEVER looked better!! (great hat though...) Hehe I'm glad you like it. Out of all the pictures I took that day, this has to be one of if not me favorite. The hat looks good, but you look great, I love it!
  16. Aye I missed ya too. And congratulations for being so busy and on all the coverage! Additionally there be a nice piece done on PRP in the latest Renaissance Magazine - Well done, very nice indeed! I hope ta attend Ojai, but if I can make it at all, it will have ta be this next week-end. . . Life and money issues keeps getting in the way, so we'll have ta see. September has been a crazy month fer Pirates in California. I hope to see you soon as well and thank you kindly for the nice words on the new picture. I've got more in me MySpace picture gallery. - Stynk http://stynky.com
  17. Well that be me intentions. Right now its just a matter of juggling me money. I'm throwing what coin I have up in the air and waiting ta see what lands. I would like ta be there all 4 days, but we'll have ta see. . . Thinking of camping, sleeping in the back of me van maybe. Don't really know just yet.
  18. Well please feel free ta tell him that he's more than welcome, though I'm not really sure for what. . . Dana Point was just a blast and lots of fun.
  19. Wow it sounds like Saturday was the day to be there, and I missed it. I showed up late on Sunday, around noon an unintentionally met up with folk that filled me with rum. I wandered me way about, stole some food and drink from the Port Royal Privateer's camp. Roger the Red be with a Mister Patch and a woman who's name I can't remember just this moment. beeerp Though I didn't take enough pictures or meet enough pirates, I had loads of fun and can't wait for next year. As fer parking, it did suck. But instead of driving around for an hour, like I've done at events before, I just pulled over in the dead-end lane of parking lot 1 or 2, put it in park, left the motor an AC running and got me self dressed. Just about the time I was done, a caught a space as someone was leaving, pretty much taking on a sit and wait strategy. And it was stupid, I've got a small van and should have car-pooled it, shared the expense and taken several people with me. - Stynk
  20. What? Gary you’re going to be there? *sigh*. . . . Well I was thinking of going, but now I don’t know. . . I mean if you’re going ta be there with that boat of yours. Just kidding, just kidding, it’s a joke. . . Hey, you in the back stop throwing stuff. Ouch. I know, I know she’s a ship. Actually it will be good to finally see her after all this time, I missed me chance the last couple times I was in San Francisco. So aye, I’ll be there again this year to play pretend Pyrates and. . . and, Who keeps throwing stuff at me? Ouch, knock it off!
  21. Well that's going to depend on how much drinking the crew does the night before and the morning thereof. But most likely it's just going to be a matter of when the crew gets their arses out of bed and into long boats. Or maybe how big a breakfast Flint makes that morning. . . When are you guys getting there?
  22. 2:00 sounds great. I know lots of people that don't even get to fair until after lunch time anyway. So how about we use the White Heart Tavern as our all day base of operations. Those who arrive early can periodically check there for other members. The main assembley could be at 2:00, where we hangout, chat and wait for stragglers. Then sometime after 3:00 when it looks like everyone is present and accounted for, we take the group Pyracy Pub picture at 3:00. After that we can continue standing around displaying plumage and disperse as we would at a party, our hang out until the cannons go off, the singing ends and the police forces us off the property. I would love to but that hunting part takes effort. I don't know, I just might. There is already so much to do at the fair and I never get to do, see or buy everything I want. I know my kids are pretty excited about the scavenger hunt.
