  8. Good That....Liam be a fine tailor and be workin' ta make a profession doin' what he likes.....I guess I gotta send him some measurements meself....See how he does on Porky Pyrates......Nice work Liam....
  9. Sangria Baby.....But thinkin' bout a Hot Buttered Rum ta sooth my achin' throat....
  10. Well, if they don't want to know how it really was....They shouldn't watch it...Or at least read the rating legend at the beginning of the show...I get so tired of people whining about nudity, especially when they sit and watch every inch of it literally, and then complain about how disgusting it was...I really like watching shows that depict life the way it really was. Infact this is probably tame, if truth be told....
  11. Cape Gun, Cape Gun.....But if it showed up on my porch, she'd probably be holding it. I wouldn't be able to enjoy the weapon either. Ya see... I'd have ta kill her....And they don't allow weapons in prison....But God....That was a pretty weapon....Kenneth bein' from the south valley ye might of heard of her maker...Paul Tidwell... He lived in B'field before movin' to Oklahoma... Hellava gunsmith and craftsman....
  12. Good Idea That,McMac.....Maybe they'll drop some duckets just ta have us show up enmass...I got the time if they got the dime....I want that coachgun...
  13. Nope...That wasn't even that good quality... I knew that gun the minute he set it down on the counter....It was one of those worthless Japenese Tower pistols from the seventies we've seen on these forums before. It was funny how mad he was that he'd been screwed by an "Antique Dealer".I think he said he'd paid $750 for it and his wife told him he was an idiot.....Here's yer sign( I mean the guy who owned the gun)
  14. Yeah that double barrel capegun was awesome. They've had Blunderbusses and lots of great weapons. I have to say though, that ships bell was a Dutch East India bell dated 1602. They're " Expert" said is was off a Spanish Galleon.......No Way an East India Ships bell would have been off a Spanish Galleon. Am I Right guys? Never heard of even Pyrates stealin' ship's bells. Another thing, Their" Gun Experts" have a tendency to look down gun barrels to see if they're loaded. I mean, Dumb, and Dumber.....Use yer ramrod, save yer head.....But I love the show, wish I could run into the gun peddlers outside, I'd have me a hellacious gun collection already.
  15. And a fine one she looks ta be....I have sailed The Swift into Catalina Harbor at the helm. Worked the Spanker on the Lady Washington outa Morro Bay. And tended Jib on The Royalist in Francisco Bay. I have my own 21 footer I sail at Huntington Lake along with my friends Thistle. Ya might say I'm the reason the Roger is again flying on that lake.
  16. Hey.... my cap'n started it hahaha the French have their uses... one of our crew by the name of Whitebeard is a Frenchman. By Whitebeard ya mean Weezer, or ya callin' me Whitebeard. If the latter be the case...I'm not French...I don't care what me wife says....I'm not French...But them socks are.....Haaaarrrrrrrrrr.
  17. .....Sometimes I feel...Like I'm tied to the wippenpost...Oh Lord I feel like I'm dyin'....Sorry....couldn't help meself.......Nice cat-o-nine though....
  18. Franzia Box Red with a plate of homemade sgetti......What not Pyraty enough...
  19. Just ran across that site last night....http://www.muzzleloaderbuilderssupply.com... Nice components they offer as well....Pricey...but....If yer an acomplished gun maker, ya can make a beauty ta fit yer personal needs. Quality locks and barrels...That's what makes a good gun. I would guess their completed guns to average in the 7-800. dollar range. I haven't inquired yet on finished guns but I think my next personal gun will be one of their kits......I've never had any issues with all the guns I've purchased from Middlesex...Just put the right size flint in and yer firing. The Murdochs have a really heavy mainspring creating a hellish trigger pull, but that was my only issue with any of their guns....I don't even mess with mainsprings....I'd leave that to the more qualified amongst us like Cascabel and Callenish.... I won't buy Spanish or Japanese...Period...in regards to guns......I do like Pedersoli's Queen Annes and Bessies but, like Patrick says it all depends on what ya can afford ta spend and how much ya wanna mess with em,or somethin' like that...One time I traded a buffalo robe for a cusom built left handed Queen Anne cape gun, 20 ga., made special for my ex psycho-alchohlic girlfrind...God what a beauty....The gun not the girl....Wish I stil had the gun....One of a kind, handmade lock, stock, and barrel....Light as a feather....God only knows what happened to it...Barrel is marked "Tidwell"....Oh well....
  20. Tell me I'm just Blind...But just today I saw a TV program called Freakiest Festivals....There was Maddoge walkin' the plank and about a 5 min. section on PIP this year.....Pretty interesting....Has anybody else seen it?
  21. Wow.....Just saw it last night on STARZ.The slowmo blood is a little korny, but what a series. I too can't wait for the next episode. I think I'll watch again tonight just cause it's that good, and Spartacus was my first Historic Hero....Too bad they didn't show more of TriReem they were taken to Cadua aboard,I mean below decks.....I give it 2 snaps up!
  22. Good one Patrick......I agree...Rum can't go bad....The worst I ever had was Fantastic....
  23. This is a beautiful weapon, but be warned it is about 30" OL...I purchased one and being short in stature it had the feel of a blunderbuss.....I gave it to a friend that was 6'5". Great gun but not for short people. Just sayin'.
