Duluth, MN would probably be good, Great Lakes and all. Tulsa, OK just because it's lower midwest(new frontier)and they have a couple of good arenas to do so. Dallas would be an incredible place to have such an event, given the haughty mentality here to such eccentric, cosmopolitan, arty and pompous ostentation. Not to mention the international airport(DFW)! Everyone should visit. Endulge your consequentialness!

We have a group/crew/drunks here in the Dallas area called the 'Wayward Child' that originated at Scarby. We plan on a few occasions to make the TRF event as an encampment there on the grounds. The wife and I will be celebrating our anniversary there the weekend of the 14th-16th, like we did last year and had a blast. We love that faire. The crew hasn't decided on which weekends yet, but will post with that info in hopes of meeting new friends/pyrates/drunks.

Lemme say one t'ing lads n' lasses, I hadda grand ole tyme at tha TRF. Made a sweep uv tha small stage near tha entrance at noon Saturday in hopes a-meetin a few fellow pyrates but seems ye all had more rum than ole Jack here tha nite afore(Not hardly)an coon't draggit from yer hammock early nuff Saturday! Sorry, I stepped on me pet tirade annit squeaked. No harm done. This was me an tha wife's first trip ta TRF an I wish we'd made tha haul before, cuz it wuzza grand weekend. Haven't had that much fun a-Farin inna dunkey's age. Tha brew an wit flowed with reckless abandon, sez I! Gave tha big redhead near tha gate yer hello, Black Deacon, an she said 'tell Black Deacon...(puts thumb on nose,wiggles four fingers to tha tune of long raspberries)". Dohn know wott it means, lad, just relayin tha message. Tha TRF itself covers a lot more ground than tha Scarborough Faire in Waxahachie an me boots were noggy-noggy at tha end uv tha day, but worth ev'ry staggerin step. Overall feel seemed a bit more friendlier than Scarby somehow, or maybe more casual, can't quite put me finger onnit, but found it very easy to interact an just plain have a memorable tyme. An talk about photo oppurtunities, the trail areas and garden builds are incredible. Once I figger out how ta do tha pic postin bit I'll share some o' tha moments.
