just a few more KOA details. each tent site can have only 2 tents and a max of 6 people. i have called ahead and told them our group name, and to put our sites next to eachother. cheers!

of course it just so happens that the onlu color fabric i don't seam to have is lime green, which means another trip to the fabric store...YAY! i really have to stop spending money, faire hasen't even started yet and i'm already broke. ARRRRRR! at least i still have a few weeks before pirate invation.

good luck mate with that sewing by hand thing, my machine died also, but i'm not brave enough to go on using not but my hands and a needle.

For all interested in the Pyrates weekend encampment, i just called KOA asked about bringing a group. in order to get camp sites togeather we need a group name. i'm thinking "pyrates" or "pyracy pub" will do fine. when making your reservation mention the group name to get ajoining campsites. a tent camp site is $34 for the night $3 for each additional child, and $5 for each additional adult. if you want to call and make reservations the number is (410) 923-2771 i personally do not have a tent, so if anyone has a large tent and is willing to share let me know, if not i'll see if i can get my dad to lend me his.

just an idea, anyone interested in finding somewhere to eat after the faire on sat?

no i did not. duncan, not sure if you remember, but i took a picture of you and your friend on the top deck of the pyrates cruise in the rain. i saw the pic on the juryrig site. alright so if we are going to do an encampment at the KOA on pyrate weekend should i just get a camp site or should i stick to my one room cabin, it sleeps 3 and i'm willing to share it.

i'll be there at the kilt company. we are really busy on Sat so they won't let me take the day off.

well i've got some good news and some bad news the bad news is that i can't get off work on SAT! the good news is that i have the whole day off on SUN. i hope you all come out on sunday to so that i have someone to galavant with.

if anyone is interested the number for the KOA is (410) 923-2771, other than camp sites they also have one and two room cabins that are reasonably priced. if we do end up doing some kind of encampment we should call and let them know. i'll be there either way.

i'm going to try and take my "lunch break" at 1:45 if i can. i'll do my best but things are going to be very busy.

it was close to nothing. the pack of letters cost me $5 they are really brads for scrap booking, but i only used two, then i hot glued them to an old earing that i had in a craft box (you can use anything round and flat) and then i used ribbon that cost me $.50 for each roll. craft stores have lotts of stuff you just have to look around. the pin that i glued on the back i just had lying around but you can buy them for a few cents.

i'm single single single, i ended a relationship in early january and it dosen't look like love is heading my way anytime soon. i'm to busy to go out and meet people, and there is no chance of finding it at work, i work at a woman's gym, no guys allowed. so my only chance to meet anyone will probably be at faire and since i'm also working there i don't have much time for mingling. so here's to the single life!

crimson and blenderwench, thanks for the complements on the pin, i like how it came out. crimson as for openind day i will be there but i'll be working. nevertheless i will have my pin on. blenderwench is bringing a gang over to see me at work, you should join them.

KOA is about 7 miles from the faire. I can't wait for saturday! i'll be waiting for your visit.

I'M BACK! and the beach was wonderful...lots o pirate stuff. YAY. anyway i'm am going to try to take pirate weekend SAT off so i can hang out with you lot instead of working. your welcome to visit me on all other weekends at the kilt company on SAT and the potomac leather co on SUN. i'll be spending most SAT nights at the KOA campground so if anyone was thinking of staying there you won't be alone. i'm still looking for "PP" pins if all else fails then i think the fabric will have to do
