  1. Charity, please do not fall into the trap of thinking that how long you grieve is equivalent to how much you love someone. On it's face, that may sound innapropriate. But I know from experience, this is the case. You have to move on, because those who have passed will not understand why you are "stuck" in this one moment. They have transcended time, space, and everything you and I know. Let go, and move on. You are far too glorious a spirit to moor yourself among the dead. Live!! Love, and show the world that you are who you are! It took me 3 years to lean this lesson, after my Father passed. The world is waiting for you, dear Charity. Show them what you've got!!
  2. For those of you who missed the My Lady's Cutlass show last night, you have my sympathy! What a fantastic show! Everyone was fabulous! An incredible array of talent, an intimate venue... It was the perfect night. Congratulations to Kim and Jen for a smashing success!
  3. Amazing! It's the ghost of Dr. Zaius, from "Planet of the Apes"! Just an interesting trick of light and shadow. If you look long enough, you can see at least a half dozen "faces". :)
  4. I use Skidmore's Leather Cleaner on all my leather products, from expensive show saddles to scabbards, or even cheap work gloves. It's the best stuff I've ever used, and I highly recommend it. One thing that I particularly like is that it doesn't drastically darken the leather like oils tend to. I don't know if they have a web site, but their number is (307) 742-0770 or (800) 785-2466. It's a family business based in Laramie, WY. Nice people, and their product is a real bagain when you consider I've kept over $15,000 of leather pristine for almost 5 years with about $35 worth of leather cream. :)
  5. Laugh more Love freely Live each day like it's my last Rediscover music Resist the urge to fart in crowded elevators OK, the last one was just for fun. The more, the merrier, says I!!
  6. Aye. He looks like my Caleb. A very sweet, but opinionated kitty. Then again, so are Selena and Jack, Jr. We raise 'em mouthy around here. I firmly believe that the reason cats interfere with our attempts to read is that they wish to keep their servants uneducated, and therefore more compliant to their whims. After all, 2000 years ago, they were worshiped as gods. They have not forgotten this simple fact. :)

  8. Whoops! I forgot to mention that the featured wine with the entreƩ is Yellow Tail Vineyard's 2003 Reserve Merlot.
  9. Remind me never to show up in Florida dressed as the Green Knight! I'd hate to lose my head over such a trivial thing... :)

  11. Well, love... since you asked so nicely, I'd be happy too!
  12. I love my new black-wire basket rapier. Nicely balanced, and just the right heft. And with my traveling saxophone and 2 recorders, I'm having a high old time playing with my hooters! Wait, that didn't come out right...
  13. Highly passionate, charismatic speaches are the stock and trade of dictators. Fidel Castro only recently backed off the length of his compulsory-attendance speeches, from 7 hours to a mere 5. What a slacker.
  14. I still love this one. It makes me hungry!
  15. "It could be worse... it could be raining!" **RUMBLE** :) There's still a dark part of me that's curious as to what Frau Blucher actully did to those poor horses. No doubt it would make "Equus" look like a children's party.
  16. I'll be certain to catch your show! My season pass is already purchased, and I'm ready to make the barmaid at Mac's blush all over again. :)
  17. I admit it - I'm cheating on the vichyssoise. I'm serving it warm. I can't bring myself to serve cold potato soup in Winter!
