leather,canvas metal,wood?what would sword sheaths be made of?id say all of the above from my exp...but as most here are more familiar with naval things than i am i thought i'd inquire.

though ive never heard of either of these...if its real chrome itll be hard to get off as chrome is very hard...id sand it off....stainless coating.. its probably all stainless then...throw it away...lol i hate stainless BUT you can heat it to a nice orange and thetll do the trick...itll "stain then..."

ive got some well seasoned bamboo layin around from my flute...anyone know if it was used at all? glass bottomed bamboo tankard?as im a glazier and can cut glass circles and other such fancy glass...seeded(read tiny bubbles) glass bottom?
