JoshuaRed Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Here in Orlando it's bright and sunny, not a cloud in the sky, a breezy 73 degrees. Course don't ask me about the weather in June....
Red-Handed Jill Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Patrick - they are expecting more rain in the lower elevations, which probably means more snow for you (eep - sorry!) The parade's still on, though, rain or shine.
Capt. Lazarus Gage Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Sunny but cool, around 50 right now and soon to be dropping unfortunately. But at least it stopped raining.
Patrick Hand Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 parade's still on, though, rain or shine That's not th' problem...... getting out of the snow, to go get rained on is.......
The Doctor Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 We got another 5" of the accursed white stuff. I did find out one cool thing; if you forget to throttle back my crappy little snowblower from the "Start" position, I can pile snow up on my neighbor's roof! Yo ho ho! Or does nobody actually say that?
Silkie McDonough Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Bloody Minnesota snow! I was suppose to have an old friend visit this weekend. She lives in Minnesota, she works for the airlines, she couldn't get on any flights today because they canceled flights this morning and there was no room for standby passangers this evening! !@#$%^&*!!! Snow! And I have this sinking feeling that we are going to get here before the end of the month. Did I say !@#$%^&*!!! Snow!

Tall Mike Bismuth van der Bulge Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Arr, the California mainland be havin' quite the snow, lately. Some don't be likin' it, but not true of Captain Tall Mike Bismuth van der Bulge! He'd a-walk inta any situation which would most likely result in certain death an' fare inta any weather. So long as it don't be like, ye know, a hurricane or anythin', but that jest be common sense. Anyway, the Salmon Soul be covered in snow fer two 'er three days a week now, but so long as it don't freeze me battery, I be fine. Arr. Maybe I could be makin' a giant sled in th' likeness of the Happy Salmon an' ride it down th'highway? Gyar, now there be an idea.
CaptainCiaran Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Freezin' our butts off in North Carolina. Big cold front has sent our temperatures plummeting from the lovely 70s we had been in recently. Winter's last hurrah. I wonder if one of the most important steps on our journey is the one in which we throw away the map. -- Loreena McKennitt My fathers knew of wind and tide, and my blood is maritime. -- Stan Rogers I don't pretend to be captain weird. I just do what I do. -- Johnny Depp
Coastie04 Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Sitka, AK: Warming up past freezing and actually sunny for once! Coastie She was bigger and faster when under full sail With a gale on the beam and the seas o'er the rail
CaptainCiaran Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Spectacularly beautiful in NC today. Trees are leafing, flowers in full bloom (the azaleas have started blooming!), blue skies, bright sun. About as close to heaven as we get. But, the pollen causes ye to ne'er forget hell.
