Charity Posted October 1, 2005 Share Posted October 1, 2005 I got this in my Disney newsletter : MuppetCentral: Disney responds, November DVD's will be in widescreenThe Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, The Muppet Christmas Carol, and Muppet Treasure Islandwill be released in a special edition dvd with widescreen and full frame versions and other extras in celebration of Kermit's 50th birthday. I already have it on DVD, so I doubt I'll be buying another copy of it (even if it is special edition) -- but I may have to get some of the other new releases ... And ol' Kermit's been around since 1955?! tishsparrow Posted October 2, 2005 Share Posted October 2, 2005 "hoist the sails and SING..... sailing for adventure on the bounding main" just watched that this morning. i woke up and couldnt fall back asleep and it was 5:30 in the morning on a saturday, so i watched a movie. i watch it almost every weekend cuz i go see my grandma on the weekends. she has every disney movie that was avaliable from about 1989 to about 1998 or so... thats about when they started to just seem stupid. yea, about 1998, cus one of the last ones is bugs life.
